When you watch them play matador D and have zero clue how to board it's no wonder they suck.

I don't really watch the league too much anymore, but is the rest of the league as pathetic rebounding fundamentally? It's almost unwatchable how devoid of fundamentals they are. I think it's a trend throughout sports too.

Regardless, it seems like there was little reason why he was getting the boot. Why? Because he said something to Dolan about the terrible management.

If I'm in Dolan's shoes I'd probably do the same thing. Get the clown the fuck out of my arena worth billions. At the same time, the Knicks statement was horrible and it's an unwinnable battle for Dolan and the Knicks.

Oakley was beloved. What good could possibly come out of the Knicks feud with him? Especially with how fed up the entire tri state area is with his horrible mismanagement of the franchise and Phil Jackson and the laundry list of shitty decisions they've made over the past 17 years.

If they wanted this shit they should've just stayed with Isiah Thomas picking Ronaldo Balkman over Rondo and Kyle Lowry. At least he knew how to fuck the Knicks up organically.
