Bingo. They went out and got the best available players at positions of need. If you have the cap room there's really no reason not to.

Those are just the ones that worked. History is littered with those that haven't (particularly my teams) - the early 90's Mets, the Kotite Jets. I'm not too enamored with the moves so far.

I worry Faneca will age and become Dave Williams (or whoever that tackle was from Tennessee that was highly touted and busted) instead of Pete Kendall. I didn't even know Tony Richardson was still in the league. Pace could be a one-year wonder. I don't mind the Jenkins-Robertson tradeoff (overlooking Jenkins' prior injury problems) 'if' we're able to trade D-Rob otherwise the cap hit will be a disaster.

You can win now because the next season is your best and last (for a while) chance to make a run for the title, or you can try to win now because your job is on the line. It can go both ways, and our team's situation is certainly the latter.

Now, I'm not entirely against the signings, but I refuse to get my hopes up for this team until I have something to base those hopes on, something that includes real football games with all these players dressed in green and white.

When did we become a win now only team?

Why is everything so black and white to fans and the media?
