Pretty sure London did get a flag. Regardless of how people look at the infraction if it's there the coaches must make sure the players know and they are then held responsible. And maybe a weekly slap in the head to every OL guy to check to make sure he's not lined up past the ball!
Pretty sure London got the penalty. Regardless of how anyone thinks about the validity of this "infraction" if the refs are calling it, the coaches have a duty to drill it into the heads of every guy on the field. We have certainly had discussions here about what calls are suddenly in vogue around the league, shouldn't the coaching staff be on top of the situation? And maybe someone should supply a weekly head slap to every OL guy to make sure he lines up behind the football.
I wanted to believe. Let's face it, the Patriots game, the Thursday before, was also a CLASSIC Jets loss waiting to happen. One of the worst teams in the league, all the history...but the Jets didn't lose it. They didn't just pull it out, they dominated that team! With Rodgers at QB, the NY Football Jets DOMINATED a team that they normally would have lost to. After that, why wouldn't any self-respecting Jets fan NOT think that this team.....this team that just did the most non-Jetsy thing in the world by beating the Patriots, at HOME....why wouldn't "we" all think that Denver was next to be pounded?? Some might argue they are as bad, if not worse than the Patriots. It's debatable... But no, the Jets, in super classic Jets fashion, let the fans allow HOPE and BELIEF to creep in before smashing it to pieces. They HAVE to win 1 of the next 2 to ensure simple self-respect!!! I was right to doubt this team at the beginning of the year. I picked they'd win 7 or 8 games. A few more performances like that and 7 wins will be a pipe dream.
