The Pats have an extremely talented roster and are very well coached, but they really only have two unreplaceable pieces... Tom Brady and Vince Wilfork. If these two were to go down, I could see the Pats season going down the tubes fast. But as long as those two still play, then the rest is gravy.
Bwahahah...for a guy who likes to point out when other people are wrong you'd think you would do a little stat checking before you go ahead and throw in a name like Ted Ginn Jr.
I guarantee you whoever Beli has at Backup Qb and DT will be able to come in and play good enough for them to win. The offense can be run by a HS qb it is so efficient. His players are well coached and smart so they will compensate for Wilfork being out. They might not be as dominant but they will still be better than most.
I wonder what the record is for earliest divisional clinch. Thats not an ideal thing to be involved in.
I disagree. Everyone thinks that Seymour is the best player on that D but he really is not. Seymour was good, but he didn't become dominating until Wilfork came in and moved him over to end. Losing Seymour is ok, because even a backup like Jarvis Green can excel with the mammoth Wilfork next to him, however if Wilfork goes down, good luck replacing that. Watch teams start to run all over the Pats and the pass rush become less effective. Same goes for Brady. They actually sat Brady to rest against the Fins on Sunday. The backup came in, threw an interception, and Brady was right back in. The Patriots would not be just as well off without him.
Yeah... thats why now is when we should prepare for next season since this season is kinda gone for us!
Give Beli a chance to work with his backup Qb and Dt for a week before they face an opponent and he will be ready. They are in a different class than us. I have a feeling their bench players would start on our team.
