I have a question about this sunday for everyone... Will there be boos for Sanchez on his way out or will there be cheers?

Won 2 games in a row. Threw no picks last week and another 4th quarter comeback. I'd be cheering.

At this point I think we hope the Raiders lose most of their games, since they hold a tie breaker. Let's keep hoping they crash and burn. And maybe Houston and pull off a nice win over the bungles.

Raiders are toast, Titans should lose, Bengals 50-50. I just hope we don't come out flat. Sanchez gets the cheers today.

I think Sanchez has ALOT of room for improvement, and overall haven't been happy with his development this year, but You'd have to be a grade A douchebag to boo the kid during the intros..... and conveniently don't have memory of the true lack of real QBs this franchise has really had :eek:hmy:

anyway..... I think OAK and TN lose (not a big reach, I know) but I also see Denver winning, and unfortunately the Bungles as well. Hopefully Arian Foster puts on a highlight performance.

The Jets just need to keep winning. But they can get a lot of help this week.

The Packers will probably beat the Raiders and the Saints will probably beat the Titans. I am not so sure about the other 2 games.

Houston without Schaub is not that great of a team and Cincy needs that game, badly. So, I think Cincy pulls it out. However, with a game against the Ravens left, Cincy will still get to 6 losses at worst.

And I think Tebow beats the Bears. The defense should hold Caleb Hanie down, and Tebow will once again just do enough to win in the 4th quarter. However, they will get a 6th loss, at worst, as well when they play the Pats, who will be in must-win mode because of competition for 1 seed.

So, it could be a great day, but when all is said and done and I think it will just be a very good day for the Jets.

You guys got it easy. My wife is a Chiefs fan and my mother-in-law, whose's visiting, is also a Chiefs fan so my house is a curious mix of green/white vs. red/gold/white. The Jets had better win today or I'm gonna have to listen to my mom-in-law talk shit as well as my wife. :)

Hell Yeah! I didn't really let them have it like I could have. Took the high road and simple did our JETS chant several times really loud and kept asking questions like: "Why is Palko still out there getting his head beat in..?" and my best one of the day: "Your coach got a 25yd penalty? Holy Smokes!!"

Thoroughly enjoyable day yesterday Stinky! Felt so good I even let them call the rest of the inlaws back in Mo. I kinda let them have it too..

I really enjoyed the penalty on Haley too, that was the highlight of the 2nd half in my eyes.

Sounds like you enjoyed the game!

Except for the late Denver comeback it worked out perfectly for us. Even that might not matter if the Raiders collapse because Denver will win the division and that will have no bearing on us.

All the head-to-head tie-breakers everyone was wringing their hands over all year are turning to dust--Baltimore, New England and Denver will end up winning their divisions, the Raiders out of the picture.

The Planets and Stars certainly seem to be aligning positively for us IS. Its about damn time too. Still got two very challenging games in front of us against two teams we have problems with. The Giants and the Iggles. Both will be a damn good barometer as to just how good this Jets team really is.

Yeah, but if you want to get in you have to be a good team, you can't just beat the Chiefs every week. I think the NFL has good criteria, the Jets in five losses have three to 10-3 teams, another to an 8-5 team and one to a 7-6 team. That means we're pretty good therefore should be in a decent position.

Well yeah as long as we win every game left otherwise all those tiebreakers are back and louder than ever. Look at the schedules and everybody else has walk over games and we have at least two extremely difficult one that must be won. The only tough game anybody else has comes in week 17 when the teams they play will be resting their entire team.

Not really, because we're fighting for a Wild Card and three of the four teams we lost to are in position to win divisions, therefore not fighting for a Wild Card. That leaves the Raiders, who are a game behind us and are not playing nearly as well as the Jets right now.

So head-to-heads, which looked daunting earlier, appear to be largely a non-factor, and we're now 6-5 in the AFC with at Miami left. If we can't beat them in a pseudo home game then we don't belong in the playoffs. I know they've improved but we should still beat them if we're going to go anywhere.

You left out the Bengals, who are still a concern.
