U ever think our pass d is second cuz everyone is running on us. And the offense turns the ball over all the time?

There's. Time for the OL to gel and all but this team is in a spiral and if they don't win against NE they better go 9-2 the rest of the season.

Raiders wil ccontend for wild card along with ravens. Both possibly take their division. Losses against them will add up in the playoff hunt.

Yes it is as bad as it seems. But the jets CAN pull themselves out this hole. But it better start this weekend

This week is HUGE! If we lose this week, there is maybe a 10% chance of making the playoffs. Unless we pull of something like the chargers were they lose for a while then of all of sudden make a playoff run, which is unlikely because our division is tough. But I honestly feel a win coming, only thing we hate worse than losing is the patriots.

Well this week will be a good test of the Jets pass D. The Pats may run to keep the D honest but it's a passing team these days.

this season is reminding me of how '98 started, look how that ended up, 12-4,
not guaranteeing that's what will happen, but throwing the towel in now is just weak

It's amazing to me, but somehow a big part of this fanbase is spoiled. I guess they expect us to cruise through each season like we did last year when we started 9-2. That's not the way it goes fellas ... there's usually ups and downs to every season.

Look it up ... the last 7 times we've made the playoffs since 1998, do you know how many times we got off to a flying start? ... the answer is TWO times (2010 & 2004). Every other year we had some struggles early, or midway through but we got our shit together and made the playoffs. You have to play all 16 games and it doesn't matter what order the wins come in. So please stop crying like a bunch of babies, because even if we lose to the Pats, the season is a LONG way from over after 5 games.

For the record, here are some landmarks during our last 7 playoff seasons, showing the low point where all the SOJ fans probably jumped ship, and how we finished:

    2010 9-4 ... 11-5
    2009 4-6 ... 9-7
    2006 2-3 ... 10-6
    2004 6-3 ... 10-6
    2002 1-4 ... 9-7
    2001 2-3 ... 10-6
    1998 2-3 ... 12-4

If Jets fans were a quart of milk we would look like cottage cheese by now.

This years Jets are not even going to make the Playoffs. Buffalo takes their usual wild card spot. Things are worse than they seem.

serious? Buffalo will be lucky to see 8 wins this year. You saw the true Bills last week and I would bet the house they get thumped at home this weekend. The teams we need to worry about are Baltimore, NE, Oak, Tenn, and SD. 11-5 all but secures a playoff spot this year. First thigs first, bet NE this week.

I'm with you 100%. I'd say Philly -3 @ Buffalo is the lock of the season so far.

They got off to a flying start, but I think over the next 5 weeks ( Philly, @Giants, Washington, Jets, @Dallas) the Earth is going to get very big in the window for Buffalo. All of those teams (aside from the Redskins maybe) have significantly better talent than the Bills. 3-0 could turn into 4-5 very easily.

I'm not as confident of phillys D stopping buffalo as you are, I will be rooting for green all sunday, it would be nice if we're in 1st place and the whole sky is falling mentality would maybe slow down a bit
