    "Thin" at WR?

I'd love to be as thin as you at WR. You guys are spoiled with your 9000 Pro Bowlers and 1st round picks on your roster. You'll be fine and crush the Texans.

I haven't seen the Jets line up 4 WRs at any point this season.

A lot of our guys are ones we drafted. We have had very few first round busts in the past decade. You can get all pissy about our scouting department doing a great job and yours doing a shitty one if you want to.

Just read on JI that Cumberland is "active" this week.

I saw the article that Cumberland was moved to WR, but how would they know if he'll be active?

This is not a huge deal for the upcoming games we have against Houston and Cincy. I love Cotchery and he is my favorite Jet but Holmes and Braylon are better players. It would be a much bigger deal if we lost one of them.

Cotchery's role is simply easier to fill. The Jets can go about it in many ways. They could get Keller involved more, let Smith get the reps out there, or even give McKnight a chance or let LT line up in the slot more as well.

Cotchery is an important piece to our offense but im not going to sweat it against Houston and Cincy. I'd much rather see him sit out till the New England then try and come back to early and fight through it against teams we are clearly better then with or without him.

Agreed, I really want him healthy for New England

Cotchery and Keller are Patriot killers

I wish Cotch were not out, but seeing Holmes and Edwards out there for most of the game will not be the worst thing in the world by a long shot.

Can't we just call our buddy Mangini up and ask for a little help? Maybe Stuckey for a 7th rounder...

We don't need a 4th WR. Brad Smith was our 4th WR before JCo got injured and he has I think two or three receptions total.

Can Hartsock catch? I'm presuming not.

Well, if Cotchery is out he doesn't need to be replaced by another WR. Perhaps the Jets bring in another TE & change the gameplan a little. Extra blocker for more runs & max protect for longer pass routes once in a while.

Cotchery will be missed but with Braylon, Holmes, Keller & LT Sanchez still has plenty of weapons. Sanchez still has deep threat, receivers capable of getting good yards after the catch & reliable checkdown receiver.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned that we gave up on Woodhead.

    *sarcasm intended*

What is shot about Coles? Just curious. He had a good season 2 years ago for us. I might not be aware of something?

Saving him for a goal line play in a big game to break him out.

Otherwise, no. I don't believe he can catch.

    wide receiver is fine

braylon, tone, brad and turner if we need a fourth

plus we'll spread out Dustin and use LT out of the backfield

plenty of weapons for the Sanchize to find on the few occasions we will have to go to the air since ground and pound is going to run the ball right up the Texans ass all afternoon, anyhow
