easy cowboy… I know you’ve been on blazed with the benching and have said so many times already…but I do think it’s not unrealistic to assume White couldve thrown for more than 2 yards in the second half, and it’s also fair to say he would have done better than 40 fucking percent completion rate, so yeah, I DO think White wins that game. you’d have to go far fucking back in time to find a QB performance as absolutely disgusting as the shit Zach put up that day….
“The Jets can’t beat the best NFL teams when they’re healthy.” Your words. So what’s slipping away? We’re a good team. That’s all. Well, we were a good team until we lost Breece and ended up on our 7th configuration of an OL. But even when we were at our best we’re still not anything but a bottom end one and done playoff team at best. Nothing slipped away.
But the Jets are NOT winning. They're still allowing the team to slip away. I don't care what QB plays best. I want the Jets to win. At the end of the day, nobody cares who's the toughest guy on the toughest team. Everyone cares about who won. The bottom line for this team is winning and the Jets are nearly a .500 team at this point. Very clearly not good enough....
That's EXACTLY how I feel. I'm already over the team turning around. Been there, done that.. Now it's about WINNING and the Jets are rapidly losing.
Who said we can't? Are there any rules about going from the worst to a juggernaut? If there are any rules, I'm not aware of them.....
Well, I disagree there's Nothing Saleh can do. The Jets have more than enough talent on the OL to play well. Yet, they've put forth less than decent performances. If the OL starts their job ALL of the players on offense will get better. Mike White will be a better QB because he'll have more time to complete passes and he won't be peeling himself off the turf after every play. The running game will improve, the WR's will put up better numbers, we'll convert more 3rd downs, etc so on so forth....
NOT true. We can win out and still miss the playoffs because we don't own tiebreakers against SD or NE...
Yeah, that is true but guess what, New England isn’t winning out. They’re one of the worst 7 win teams I’ve ever seen.
Brutal schedule. Raiders, Bengals, Dolphins, Bills. I think they are more likely to lose out than win out. But they do probably win a couple of those
Regardless of how you think this plays out (and I agree with your take on NE), you're factually incorrect. The Jets do not control their own destiny. They must win out and get help from other teams to make the playoffs. And that's disappointing for ne considering where they were sitting just a few weeks ago. Right now, as of this moment, the Jets would be going home and missing the playoffs altogether.....
Dude, I said your comment was right and that I was mistaken by saying they’re win and in. In my eyes, they’re win and in because one of the chargers and patriots will drop a game.
The odds of both the Chargers and Patriots both going 4-0 are very, very low. If the Jets win all their games going forward, they’re going to make the playoffs. Shit, even if they go 3-1, they’ll make it.
Just from the eye test over the last month of football they've played -- at best they are going to 2-2. There is no chance that team gets to 10 wins. That team stinks. It's disgusting that we lost to them twice.
Good Post ..but I always liked CC contributions here so no offense to him that Zach is clearly the one letting his own career "slip away" through words and actions To me , when Wilson took no responsibility and did not own up to a poor performance was really his killer mistake because he lost respect from players and CS Just smh that we were 1 loss away from drafting T Lawrence>>>on a much better NFL trajectory than our Zach tbh
Agreed. My point about being angry... I don't see/hear much from players, other than the MW love crap. And that's on the Media's questions, which focus on the nonsense. But that takes the players' focus away from 'the main point'... winning. I think part of why, the team starts so slow on O (& lost 2 winnable games), is so much focus is on the 'QB controversy', which to me is a non-controversy. Benching Zach needed to be done, & the way Saleh has handled it has been perfect, except in not telling the players to be wary of the Media's desire to create a controversy, where there is none. I'm not hearing the same focus on winning, as earlier in the season. Almost everything is QB stuff. And that loss of focus on winning, I think has played a large part in their losing 4 of their last 6 games.
This season has been win-win in the sense that we can still make the playoffs and aren't a laughing stock. Terrible QB play for the most part, injuries, and a few disappointing loses. I'm not gonna complain. The coaching staff and this team have showed tremendous growth. We are only gonna get better.
