Yeah we definitley need to draft a QB at some point and almost definitley early on...but no point in writing off Bridgewater or even Hack at this point

I would hold at 6 and draft Mayfield, Allen, or Darnold if one of them are there and in that order. If not, I would trade down for the best offer if Rosen is still there. If all 4 are gone then fuck it I’ll take Barkley or Chubb (whoever falls)

In a trade back I would target Lamar Jackson or Rudolph

Only guy I want no part of is Rosen...great player but concussion history is no bueno

I'm saying he won't take a QB at 6, and next year he believes the long term option will already be in place from one of those 2 guys.

Darnold is the only one I would feel differently about and keep 4 QBs until the 53 then place Hack on the practice squad if it wasn't obvious.

We're not going to roster 4 QBs again. So everyone wants "more options" but we already have 3 QBs. Cut McCown and now you loose a year of the team as a whole progressing, don't sign Bridgewater and you lose the best chance of a franchise QB in this years FA (minus Cousins), cut Hack before he ever takes a snap in a game... well that's just asinine.

I don’t think there is any question that the Jets draft a QB this year. I do however think there is a question he drafts one at 6 or trades up. I can picture a scenario of all 4 QBs being gone at 6 and Mac going BPA and drafting one of the second tier QBs later.

I hope we go with the flow instead of QB or bust.

If we can get Barclay or Chubb, QB could wait.

If the Bills want to give us a Hershal Walker trade deal we let them have the QB.

If we do go QB Mayfield and Darnold have potential. Allen is a risky project and Rosen will spend half of his career on IR.

Hack is done. We've been calling for him to see game time and now they've backed themselves into a corner. Mccown is nothing more than a safety net. You give Teddy the chance to show what he is, while the rookie sits and learns. No place for Hack and no place for Mccown to start all year.

Well, I guess my initial thoughts on this were correct after all? With Mac having acquired the 3rd overall pick, is there any doubt at all he is taking a QB? The team is not going into the season with 4 QB's. McCown and Bridgewater are guaranteed, barring injury, a roster spot.

So it's only a matter of time now before they cut Hack and Petty.

Honestly, I'm happy for this to happen. The QB talent on the team the last two seasons was a joke. It was really embarrassing when you're losing to the Rams 9-6. That's a fucking baseball score.

Mac's recent moves are putting the team in the best position to find a FQB.
