Ummm...yeah...anyway: Booker is such an awesome public speaker, I can't imagine this will be anything but a great move for the WWE. What the fuck??????
Whatever atleast he's back. He will wrestle too.. btw merge police please. There is already a WWE thread..awesome tho I was fooled I thought this was literally a thread about underwear and I'm like wtf..I'm actually subscribed to this?!
Lame title change of the thread. This has been a strong pre-Wrestlemania season. I like Edge, but he's so faded that it'll be a good thing when he retires.
Booker-T and Kevin Nash are STILL fucking wrestling? What are they doing, bringing back NWO? Holy shit - retire already. Who's managing them? Cindy Lauper? Lou Albano? Too bad Elizabeth is dead. She was pretty hot. She got hit in the head by Macho Man's dick one too many times.
He's become a regular for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan over the last year or so. A real good junior style wrestler in my opinion.
Haven't really watched in a while, but I got a manic text that the Rock was back and was instantly a superfan again. If anything, his dynamic awesomeness shows exactly what the WWE doesn't have right now. And if we get Rock whooping on John Cena out of this, the last seven years are forgiven.
The Rock was awesome tonight, and he hit nail on head with the pussification of the WWE in the past couple of years. Since Linda tanked her Senate bid, and the ratings and PPV buys have gone in the shitter, I sense a change in the way things are done. The Rock looks like he was brought back to get the company back to where it was. If you missed it, find it on youtube or something, he trashed Cena in a devastating way: by making him look like some body who belongs on Barney, not representing wrestling. Now if we can just get rid of that PG rating.
You know guys it's not like he's going to come back and stay. He's just guest hosting wrestlemania. Anyway for WHATEVER fucking reason my dvr didn't record raw tonight and the Rock is my alltime favorite wrestler so I'm PISSED about it. I've gotta find it somewhere. edit: found clips on wwe.com only 8 minutes long? granted it was edited a bit..hope i didnt miss anything. any time the rock is on you listen..period
http://www.youtube.com/user/MarcLovley#p/a/u/1/5webrAZSBhY I am suddenly interested in wrestling for the first time since I was 15. That was awesome.
The documentary part on Stone Cold's last match vs the Rock is pretty heartfelt too if you're a 90's wrestling fan.
i didn't know where else to put this, but some of it had me rolling the most illegal thing seen in the history of wrestling
i stopped watching wrestling once the rock started making movies and taking months-at-a-time hiatuses before returning for a month or 2, before leaving to make another movie. i believe this was around 02 or 03ish??? Anyhow not gonna lie, its been said in the thread already but I feel the same, word of his return has renewed interest in the WWE slighly, just to see where this is gonna go....
