He's been too hurt in TNA(physically and emotionally) to be over that addiction completly. That whole deal with the one black chick convinced me he is back on them, that was just too big of a clusterfuck.
guess you owned me.. but ya you cant blame them for wanting a better schedule..not much travel either seriously? jeff has been part of some of the best matches ever imo
I agree that he has. But anytime the match isn't something like a ladder match or a hardcore match he botches like every other move. It's ridiculous.
You gotta admit the Hardys used to be the shit, especially with Lita. Possibly the best match of all time imo is Hardy's vs E&C No Mercy 1999
The Hardys Definetly put on some great matches against E+C. I just feel like they were much better off as a tag team at that point in their careers. Its pretty obvious that Edge and Christian don't actually need to be a part of a tag team anymore since they're doing great as singles stars and have been for years. Consider this though, Jeff is constantly complaining about being burned out from wrestling and Matt just doesn't have what it takes to be a succesful singles star. I will agree that Matt is very over with the fans but the man is just awful on the mic and hes become such a fat slob that he cant carry himself in a match anymore. I just feel like being a tag team would be perfect for these 2. Jeff wouldn't get burned out as much since he would get a breather during match and Matt wouldn't have to completly carry a match. I think Matt completly blew it, when he had his Mattitude gimmick he was the shit. I remember watching some video saying this was his year and hes bringing it back. If he doesn't however and he finally leaves WWE, I think reuninting with Jeff in TNA would help each of their careers. And personally, I think that TLC match at Wrestlemania 17 I think it was was the best match the Hardys and E+C put on against each other, along with the Dudleys of course.
How can you leave out team 3D? Those 3 teams were hands down the best tag teams of my/our generation. Due to the high flying and the good storylines I like to think those are the best teams ever but I'm sure I'll get burned for saying that. You're right, the first TLC was possibly the best one and may be better than the one I said but they're both so great it's hard to really decide and pick one. I completely agree that the Hardys should be a team again and do more crazy things. Who cares what company it's with it just needs to happen. Edge is a great star on his own (tho I dislike him atm due to his feud with Orton) and Christian is being underappreciated. The fans love him and he has no storyline!
Yeah it really is a fucking joke what they're doing with Christian right now. I remember reading a report that he had asked for his release right after this past Wrestlemania. Now he was never released but I have a theory that it was true he asked for it. The reason I say this is because Christian knows hes better then about 95% of the current roster and they had originally planned for him to win the MITB. Plans changed and he got pissed so they said something to convince him to stay with the company. This makes me feel like they're gonna have him win the Smackdown MITB at the next pay-per-view. If any of those clowns went over Christian it would just be a fucking disgrace. It wouldn't shock me if they gave it to that robot looking dude Drew Mcintyre. But this is just my theory on what will happen with Christian. If Vince still feels he isnt Main Event caliber then its his loss really. My dream fued would be Christian Vs CM Punk. These 2 have awesome chemistry with promos. Check these out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUuNjEhEtjU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItRNsvNAs9M&feature=related
I don't see how you think they will let him win it. I mean I agree he should and I actually think he has more talent than Edge imo but I have a strong feeling Kane or Show wins the Smackdown one now that Punk is out. edit: I really like Punk too. He's got it all in my book and is underrated, past champion and all.
Neither of them needs the belt at this point. It would just be a huge waste of time and would hold anyone else back that could potentially in it. Kane and the Big Show are nearing the ends of their careers and the last thing these 2 need is to be the WHC. Also, im not sure i would say Christian has more talent then Edge. Its so close that its basically spliting hairs deciding who does what better. And honestly, who else in that MITB match is more ready to be a Main Eventer then Christian? Right now the match consists of: Kane - Old and doesn't need the belt. Big Show - See Kane. Kofi - I can't see him winning since hes already the Intercontinental Champions. Cody Rhodes - Still has to develop on the mic, he does however have excellent in ring work. Matt Hardy - Bad on the mic and can't put on a decent match anymore. Very over with the fans however. That basically leaves just Christian. I'm assuming Ziggler and Mcintyre also get announced for the match but neither of them has done much yet.
I for the most part agree with you. They are pushing Kane huge right now so having him lose the match would just take away that intimidation factor they are trying to give him. I really don't see Kane losing. Show was just champion not too long ago and I could see him getting it again. Saying they are too old doesn't make sense. Christian is no young cat either. I agree with who you have in the match. Just cuz I'm bored here are my guesses in order for both matches. We can look back after the PPV. Smackdown 8. Kofi 8. Matt 6. Ziggler 5. Rhodes 4. Mcintyre 3. Christian 2. Show 1. Kane RAW 8. Truth 7. Jericho 6. Morrison 5. Bourne 4. Dibiase 3. Miz 2. Orton 1. Edge
Both Kane and Big Show are extremly stale. They've had those same lousy gimmicks for years now and we sure as hell dont need to see them boring the hell out of everyone in the Main Event.
I ran into some awesome glory days WWF on youtube it's fuckin dope. Psycho Sid vs. Bret Hart on Raw for the WWF Title and Austin vs. Vader vs. Taker vs. Bret Hart. That was the industry at its finest gentlemen: 1996-1999 WWF. Actually, 1995 was pretty sick too.
1996 wwf for the most part sucked ass. wcw blew it out of the water in that period. late 80's man. hulkamania running wild and ric flair kiss stealing and telling steamboat to go home and help the misses with the dishes pal. even forgetting those two staples, you had guys like sting, luger, dusty, macho, warrior, rude, dibiase. wrestling was fucking STACKED then.
You're obviously of a different generation than me. I liked the early onset of the Attitude Era: Austin, Bret Hart, HBK and original DX, Sycho Sid, Mankind, Vader, LOD, Taker, Corporate Rock. 1997 fuck that shit was BALLIN'!!!! 97 and 98.
