I thought Ben was good, or at least leaps and bounds better than the last 3 or 4 guest host... I'm glad The Miz got the title from Kofi last night, and on RAW no less. Was nice to see a legitimate title change on free TV for once. Makes it feel worthwhile to watch. I don't think we will see E+C any time soon. Edge will be vaulted back into the title picture asap because there are so few legitimate main eventers now. I like him as a face tho, but I'm not sure the higher ups agree. They need to either kill ECW, or move Evan Bourne to it and give him the strap. Christian needs to get away from that show, he is far too valuable on the mic to be wasted there. I'd prefer to see ECW as a sort of training ground for younger kids coming up, would make the show entertaining at the least. Right now it's boring as hell.
Well what I meant was, it would be nice to see a short E+C reunion fued with Jerishow, and then have Christian turn heel and have E+C fued over the world title.
They won't bring Christian from ECW to the RAW World Title picture, he'll probly goto IC/US Title status before he gets up to World Title
What's interesting is that TNA have been pushing the younger guys as of late:AJ Styles is champ,Matt Morgan just came out of a fued with Kurt Angle,Hernadez is getting big push,Eric Young is getting pushed as a big heel. It will be a shame if all this is put on the back burner for Hogan.
Interesting that they gave Sheamus the title shot over Kofi. At least now they have a new face in the main event of a pay per view. Hopefully the Cena/Sheamus fued last longer then the TLC pay per view. I can really see them building Sheamus as the next mega heel.
First, Johnny Damon is hosting Raw next week. Second,...cuty suzuki? How many Japanese girls do we have posting here, anyway?
Could it be true? http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/article/breaking-news-bret-hart-signs-a-talent-deal-with-wwe-92747 The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Bret Hart has signed a short-term talent contract with WWE that will go into effect on January 1st, 2010, and expire a couple weeks after WrestleMania 26. This makes it very possible that he will be guest hosting the January 4th edition of WWE Raw when it goes head-to-head with TNA Impact. Additionally, Bret could feasibly make further appearances for WWE if his contract is in fact as long as the report indicates.
On JR's blog, he said Bret would be hosting Jan 4. Is Vince really worried about TNA here? Making a big move in response by bringing back another legend, that is a sure sign he's not blowing it off. I personally think TNA is going to get destroyed in the ratings on Monday, unless you count Tivo. Not only that, but in the long run, this is going to be a disaster for them. Actually, the best thing working in TNA's favor is that they broadcast on an open night, almost like a supplemental to WWE for hardcore fans rather than an alternative. The pie is big enough for 2, there's no use in trying to compete for Monday night.
I don't think Vince is worried, as much as he wants to absolutely fucking crush them and put another nail in their coffin. Hogan coming in was a last ditch effort to boost ratings, and them getting wrecked would just fucking kill em, publicly. What would Hogan say at that point? He was brought in to boost ratings, and so far, he hasn't done a thing to them. That being said, I'm stoked Bret is coming back.
Ya, I'm gonna make sure I tune in for at least the first episode he host, and go from there. Bret is so going to mention the screw job too, it's just not in his genes to ignore that, expecially with Shawn Micheals holding the tag titles. Shawn Micheals defending the titles alone against the entire Raw roster, in a NHB match. Mark it down!
Wow, Bret fuckin Hart. I will watch that episode of RAW for sure. WWE has been incredibly shitty for a long time now.....
