That's exactly my point. No one outside of wrestling fans care about this, just like the Orton situation. It was first reported by the IWC sites, and it wasn't until way later that the AP even mentioned it. It's also stupid to make it a storyline suspension when just a few hours earlier the whole thing was mentioned on WWE.com. Unless Heyman comes out next week and says he was suspended because of the drugs, then I don't know why they would try to pretend that wrestling fans are stupid and have no idea what's really going on.
No one outside of wrestling fans care about wrestling so Vince is doing what he has to to keep face with the fans. He doesnt think that the fans are stupid at all as the majority of them can suspend disbelief for the storyline. The website has to acknowledge the bust because most fans know about it already and then the WWE would be hiding something. Then they use the storyline to help with the reality. Most fans already knew about the Matt/Edge/Lita triangle before the storyline. Many wrestlers get "injured" in the ring when it is already known that they need time off for some reason or another. Refusing to acknowledge the bust would be pretending that the fans are stupid, not the other way around.
Which is why they should have just taken him off TV instead of creating some alternative reasoning for his suspension.
Nah, that is bad tv writing. What would you think if on your favorite show a major character just disappers without out any reason or any of the other characters talking about it adn then just reappears a few episodes later like nothing happened? Its shoddy and shitty writing. It works for Heyman to "suspend" him. It turns Paul and Show into heals and if possible makes RVD a bigger face immediately. The rematch when RVD returns will now be huge since he needs to get revenge on Heyman for turning on him. Last night after the match, the fans littered the ring with garbage and were booing loudly. I havent seen anything like that since Hogan joined the NWO. You need to give the fans something in order for them to come back. Now they will. They need to see if RVD will be able to get his revenge on Heyman and his belt back from Show. The bust and his suspension is actually going to help more than hurt now.
Test looked good last night. There were some "You take steroid" chants towards him though  I honestly don't think he takes them.
^^Angle is suprising since he has been rumoured to take some time off for a while now due to injury. Unless they are going with a Heyman suspends anyone so that Show can keep the title and to prove his power and evilness storyline.
This is fucking awesome. I wish I could get MSG down here. MSG and WWE have committed to airing a total of 30 shows the following year. If anyone has a DVD recorder and is going to tape them, please let me know as I would love to get copies of these old matches.
oh god no............ Please dont let this happen. Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Orton had been tentatively scheduled for WrestleMania 23, based around Orton's Legend Killer gimmick, as a back-up plan in case Steve Austin could not be persuaded to work with Hogan. Now the match has been brought forward to SummerSlam to tie into the release of Brooke Hogan's song, which has become the focal point for the feud at Hulk Hogan's request. While he is enthusiastic about the angle, Brooke's publicists and record company are said to be very resistant to the idea as they believe she faces enough of an uphill struggle to be taken seriously due to being known first and foremost as "Hulk Hogan's daughter", so continuing to be associated with professional wrestling will do nothing to make people think of her as anything more than a publicity stunt. Regardless, Brooke and Orton may yet become an on-screen couple. As he continues to have full creative control on his angles and match finishes it is Hulk's decision - and so is whether or not Orton gets to go over.
That would be awesome if Orton beat Hulk Hogan. I got to get to one of these smackdown shows, the fans are such losers. I'd have two double sided signs, one saying "Finlay" and "The Great Khali". The other would say "Rey Sucks" and "Mr. Kennedy" . The fans would probably kill me lol.
Orton is the biggest idiot in the business. He really has to stop being a dumbfuck and get his act together. http://www.wrestlezone.com/article.php?articleid=154245533
Oh great, I thought I would be saved from ever having to watch Jeff Hardy again when he originally left the WWE.
