:rofl2: FITM That is probably why RVD lost the title tonight (to Big Show), and the no apperance of Sabu
RVD suspended 30 days. http://www.wrestlezone.com/article.php?articleid=154079395 Surprised they did it in-character. Should've just handled it privately, not brought it into storylines.
Well how else would go about him getting suspened? WWE.com even said that Sabu and RVD got caught with stuff
They should've just taken him off TV for 30 days. Could've said he was injured by the Big Show. Puts over Big Show as an even bigger monster. That's how they went about Orton's suspension, said that Angle broke his ankle. Should've done something similar here.
Difference is that What RVD and Sabu did was out in the news before the WWE posted it. It was already known. Orton was suspended mostly for being a dick.
I'm a huge Van Dam fan, but anyone who thinks he doesn't deserve to get suspended and lose the titles is crazy. If Masters and Mercury (mid-card) get pulled off for one instance, RVD needs to have the same treatment at the top of the card. I really hope he learns from this. But he's been doing it for a while, so who knows. Maybe he's killed so many brain cells, he doesn't even know what happened yet!
Yeah but the only people who care about this are wrestling fans, it's not like the fact that this was "news" before WWE posted it will effect anyone else. Everyone who actually cared about WWE knew the real reason why Orton was off TV, but they still made it an injury angle. Would've been smart to do the same thing here, especially because it would also make the new champion of the brand look stronger.
It was news before the WWE posted it. It was all over the majority of the IWC fansites plus take a look at some of the signs in the audience. They specifically addressed the issue. Just because CNN isnt picking it doesnt make it non-news. And the suspension is being played out in storylines as it was Paul Heyman who suspended him after the match. Next week on ECW, heyman will probably explain why he suspended him.
Fresh off the presses. WWE has suspended Rob Van Dam for 30 days due to his drug bust on Sunday night. WWE.com has turned the suspension into a storyline, saying that Paul Heyman suspended him after last night's show. And WWE felt extremely forced to get both the WWE and ECW Titles off of Rob Van Dam following his drug bust. With media outlets like the New York Times picking up the story, it became impossible to ignore the situation.
