They stopped showing wrestling on MSG around 1993 or so. I remember because one of the last matches was Shawn Michaels when he was just starting. Man I remember moments like the Bushwackers debuting against the Rougeaus, Big John Studd slamming Akeem, and Jake the Snake Roberts againt Rick Rude.
Rob Van Dam and Sabu caught with drugs. In a story reported by The Ironton Tribune today, Rob Van Dam and Sabu were stopped Sunday night by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and cited for drug possession. Troopers found RVD in possession of 18 grams of marijuana and five Vicodin, while Sabu was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and also had nine pills that were not immediately identifiable, but were known to be controlled substances. They were both cited and then posted bond. They are scheduled to appear at 10 a.m. Thursday in Ironton Municipal Court. No word on what, if any, punishment will be served up by WWE. Reminds me of when Hacksaw Jim Duggan and the Iron Sheik were pulled over with coke in the car. Something tells me the RVD will be losing the belt soon.
ROFL, an MMA Figher who I didn't think had a win in UFC (Puder) almost broke Angle's arm... Angle would have NO SHOT
If the WWE had a problem with RVD smoking pot, do you think they would have signed him and allowed his entire gimmick to continue?
I don't know how much i like this Little Bastard guy helping Finlay. He's kinda taking the credit, and now people are starting to root for Finlay just because of this guy. I liked him better when noone else did.
I'm a big Van Dam fan, and I was always afraid this could happen. But could it have been any worse timing that he's world champion when he got caught? I hope he's intelligent enough to take this as a learning experience. Despite what some people may joke about on this board, drugs are just not worth it.
Angle was the best amaetur wrestler in the world before the WWE, hell, he won a gold medal at the Olympics with a broken neck. He would crush any of them.
That was the first entertaining Raw I had seen in a long long time. I wanted to see more of that Kane/Fake Kane dispute though. I wonder who the imposter is.
Right but UFC is so much more brutal man, everything outside of biting and headbutting is legal. We'll have to agree to disagree.
Angle has more strength and natural skill than most of them, I bet only a select few of those UFC guys could even make it interesting.
