Ceiling, possibly, yes ~ tough to argue that point. It just sucks that a player that we had under our control is one of NE's biggest weapons. He is a damn cult hero over there now.
Yeah, like i said earlier, it was only meant to be for a week. I'd love to see him here still, I mean how couldn't you root for tiny white guys? It seems whenever a tiny White Guy has success he's a instant hero. So far he has 4 TD's, but the way the media and jet fans slobber over him one would think he's going to break records. lol
you mean like how the jets did exactly the same thing by picking up that second year qb the pats let go and probably knew their playbook also! reaching for excuses instead of accepting reality.
I know, plus when he is out there with Welker, I cannot tell who is who and I have an HD TV. Give NE credit they stole him and he has panned out. Whats funny is that their running game consists of two FAs, Ellis and Woodhead? Ridiculous. No idea how that team is 10-2, must be superior coaching or Brady really is the best ever. Because as we stated before its not due to their D.
Except...The Pats went out and switched up their offense going to a bastardized run and shoot after we smoked them earlier in the season.
After Monday night, gay or not, wears pink Uggs or not, Brady is a fantastic QB. He was throwing the ball to near perfection on every play. Some guys were fairly open, others were bullets where Jets were every where. So yeah, I think he's that good. If you take Brady off that team and replace him with any other QB they are a 0.500 team. (expect maybe Peyton, but even he's looking human now)
We are on the same page, if we had Brady, the Jets would be 12-0!!!! Imagine Brady with Edwards, Holmes, Keller, Cotchery and LT!!!!!!!!! HOLY MOLY!!!! You may hate him but you have to respect him. Manning is iffy because he plays indoors. I do think Brady is beatable on the road because he cannot audible as much due to crowd noise.
That would be enough time to give BB a copy of the offensive playbook. You know, the whole point of you making this thread.
No, it isn't. At that point it was week 2. We had played one game, not 11. Knowing the playbook, and breaking down film allows for quite a bit of intel. Picking up a guy 2 days before a week 2 game, after you've installed your gameplan, is worlds apart from being able to look at 11 weeks worth of film 12 days prior to the meeting.....
Obviously. Woodhead is the reason for all Patriots success this season. I can't imagine the Jets were so foolish as to let someone who knew the playbook go to another NFL team. They should have treated him like an injured thoroughbred.
Jets don't match up well vs. NE, does not mean NE matches up equally well to say Baltimore? Different styles, different games, etc...
