I suggest you secure your rights for the movie before someone steals your brilliant idea! This is the best post ever.

Hobbles is a good word choice

Namath would be hammered by the 4th quarter

    The sequel:

The Jets repeat in 2007 and this time, my boy, Richard Todd gets the cameo. The Jets bring the Sack Exchange, Buttle and Mehl in for the final series and the gang sack Eli 3 times. Mehl picks it off on the 4th down pass.

In 2008, the Fins make it to the Super Bowl. (Bear with me.) Leading Dallas by 5 points and less than a minute to go, the Fins trot out Marino for their own "special moment".

Dan takes the snap, starts to go down on one knee, then pops up and slings a pass into the corner to a wide open Chris Chambers...but he's not wide open; Aaron Glenn swoops in from 1994 and picks the ball clean and takes it 98 yards for the win. Marino's head turns beat red, and eventually pops off his shoulders 20 feet in the air.

The Cowboys rush to the sideline and pick up Head Coach, Vinny Testaverde, and carry him off the field.

From your lips to gods ears, the Jets could go 0-64 in the next 4 years and I'd still wake up every morning with an ear to ear grin.

I wouldn't bet my money that at age 63, Joe can throw the ball further than Chad...
