    All this anti-Russia pro-Ukraine enthusiasm needs to be tempered by a deeper understanding of the U.S. role in Ukrainian politics.

    As usual... we have our dirty little paw prints all over this situation.

    Russia is not the only evil imperialist regime involved here...

    It’s almost like invading a large sovereign nation you haven’t been shelling the living shit out of for a couple months isn’t going take a week or so.

    I don't doubt that the US has intervened in Ukranian politics, but this is a situation where virtually every Ukranian wants to repel the Russians and wants the US's help, even to a greater extent than the US is providing. This is not like Iraq or Vietnam where a lot of the people wanted us out.

    It’s a terrible situation for us and the entire Western world because this is turning into a humanitarian crisis with massive war crimes on the Russian side in using FOAB’s against civilians. The West should get involved but that pretty much stars WWIII and possibly nuclear war.

    What a fuckhead Putin is knowing this too.

    Who claims the US is imperialistic without any understanding of what that means?
