Jerry Jones. He brought in Owens and he was the one that pressured Parcells into playing Romo instead of Bledsoe, and they (along with the development of the O-line that was not built by him) are the biggest reasons the team is where they are. And the defense Parcells inherited was 1st in yards allowed and second in points, then dropped to 15th and 27 respectively when he forced his shitty 3-4 on them. Not to mention he cut Derek Ross because he just didn't like him and replaced him with Mario "Walking PI Penalty" Edwards, leading to a total breakdown of the defense. Not that Ross was great, but he wasn't a total liability like Edwards. He also passed up Steven Jackson for Julius Jones, and cost the team quite a few games with his conservative bullshit playcalling.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Roethlisberger has a SB ring. Romo doesn't. So what have we learned today?

    Roethlisberger > Romo

No. Roethlisberger should've lost in the playoffs to the Jets. He can't do what Romo does. Roethlisberger might have a ring, but the Steelers defense was the main reason for that.

Romo puts points the board, Roethlisberger plays smart so the other team can't score.

Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl and he's the best passer of all-time.

The main reason the Steelers played in and won a SB was because Big Ben and the O stepped up their game in the playoffs that year..

The defense is why they were in the playoffs. Big Ben is a top 10 QB, but Romo looks better.

Once again, Dan Marino NEVER won a Super Bowl and he is considered by most as the best passer of all time. Super Bowl rings have nothing to do with a player's talent level.

I discredit anything you say after this statement, especially since the Jets played the Steelers in the infamous Doug Brien game in Big Ben's 1st season, and the Steelers won the Super Bowl in his 2nd..

    Exactly right.

    As for the Roethlisberger/Romo debate...

If Ben has T.O., and Romo does not, are they still debatable?

I think they probably are close, but the fact is Romo has better receivers, mainly because of T.O.

I think Romo is a very solid QB. I'd be happy if the Jets had him.

But I agree that the man love of Romo or any other player is incredibly annoying. Peyton and Favre are great players and I love watching them but I hate hearing sports pundits and announcers talk about them.

Blame ESPN. What can I say? Just mute the TV.

As soon as tony romo won his first game after replacing bledsoe last season, ESPN had a question asking if tony romo was going to be a hall of famer. HIS FIRST GAME and one guy said yes. I too have had enough of him and all of dallas for that matter. dallas is way overrated...

We should've beaten the Steeles that year, right? Doug Brien is a the only reason Roethlisberger came away a winner in that game.

I didn't say anything about him winning the Super Bowl after beating the Jets in playoffs, I just said he should've lost to us.

The defense is the main reason that they were so good during his first two seasons...he did have some great games in the playoffs in their Super Bowl winning season, but where was that all season?

I discredit everything you have to say mainly because you go to San Jose State.

No, the main reason is the Jets missed two chippie field goals. One in regulation and one in overtime.

Actually that is not true. Jones was QUITE pissed when Parcells made the switch last October.
