C'mon, man. You've created so many ridiculous threads in the past few months...especiall around the end of the season and during the playoffs. My source tells me that this thread cries for attention.
when i see this thread, it makes me think of polar bears doing lines of cocaine off giant pizza pies while drinking glass bottles of coca cola.....all while elmer fudd is in the background with his rifle and the words "BOOM....Headshot" are written in cursive above him
I liked the idea of Jones starting the game and getting his carries early and then Greene finishing the game and getting his carriers as the game progressed. LT's receptions also went down big time last year (he only had 10 more catches then Jones). I wont argue that he isnt the better receiver because obviously he is. But if Leon Washington is on this team and healthy this upcoming season then I think LT's value diminishes.
Fail. Tomlinson's reception total went down in 2009 because Norv Turner likes to pass the ball downfield and he wanted to use Darren Sproles in the receiving back role - so when the Chargers threw to a back, it was usually the more dangerous Sproles. LT is still the better check down option. What don't you get, man? Washington is not a better option than LT. He may be more dangerous, like Sproles, but he's far less versatile. LT will be our third down back. Washington will be a kick returner that gets limited touches on offense.
I never said Washington was a better option then LT.......... I think that if Washington is back and healthy he can be our receiving threat out of the backfield. And I think at this point in both of their careers Jones can be more effective running the football. That is all.
Well you'd think a jets message board would be interested in info direct from the jets...but noope..you'd rather bash posters as a handful of u like to do...there's a handful of you that are jets message board bullies is hilarious...whatever works for you guys.. No worries ill keep what I hear to myself and leave the keyboard commandos to bash other posters...have at it
Being a third down back isn't just about catching the football, LT knows how to spot and pick up a blitz. That can be huge for Mark Sanchez and our passing attack.
You've never, ever brought up anything before it happened...which leads me to believe that you don't have information directly from the Jets.
Really?? Outside of becoming irate and goin apeshit which I totally admit was useless. As usual you are looking for an internet fight...I don't think you'll stop flexing your internet muscle anytime soon so keep it goin it seems to be popular around here.
Mostly bc ppl like u would have this type of reaction...and as a matter of fact I most certainly did...and stated I heard leon is without question going to be 100 percent...and whaddya know tanny has a presser today about it...all the while ill be getting some cool info on the draft soon...something someone like you would drool over...but don't worry ill make sure never to mention my bullshit source again Oh and my imaginary friend is getting me field passes for training camp
Is it your "thing" to write above the quote? It's pretty annoying... And why would you even make this thread? It's hypocritical to what you're trying to express. You're just egging on people to talk about TJ. MrElectric isn't being a bully, you're just acting idiotic and he's just saying it.
I agree with that. My biggest fear is that if Greene gets hurt (and we have seen him get banged up a little in his rookie year) I dont trust Tomlinson or LW to be the every down back the way I would trust Jones. Although with a better O-Line Tomlinsons overall production should go up.
You seriously think that's some breaking news, huh? Here's some information that I got from my source: Mike Tannenbaum said that Kerry Rhodes would be with the Jets in 2010 and a few days later he traded him. I don't give a damn what a general manager says in a press conference. For all we know, Tannenbaum could be trying to boost Washington's trade value now that LT is a Jet. (I'm my own source)
yea my guy says the jets are planning to participate in the 2010 draft...guess we have the same guy...weird
If Greene goes down, our running game will take a pretty big hit. I think our front office and coaching staff is willing to take that risk though. Tomlinson is capable of holding down the #1 spot for a few weeks. I have absolutely no doubts about that.
