    Please not.

Look at the teams Parcells has been associated with since leaving the Pats: Jets, Cowboys, Fins. That's kind of a who's-who of underachieving franchises looking for stability right now.

Bill Parcells was a great coach once upon a time. That's his claim to fame in my opinion. Thinking that he's got a ring for the taking if some team just grabs for it is wishful thinking.

You could do worse than have him in Woody's ear at this point but I think you could also do better.

    No disrespect intended.

  2. Agreed.

It's a fairly obvious the Jets have been taking advice from Parcells for a long time now. He certainly is bright football mind but the game has passed him by. Jets need to enter the new era of offensive football. Speed.Explosion.Match-ups.

If the Jets really want a piece of Parcells to move them forward they should make a play for Tom Coughlin for GM.

I would be very surprised if that happened. What would be the incentive/benefit of such a move?

    Eric DeCosta?

Not likely, he signed a new contract in Jan 2012.

don't get excited Woody could still screw this up--it says Tanny will be relieved it DOES NOT SAY he is being given another position in the organization----if he is given a new position and stays on the new GM will be a figure head and have very limited power--will NOT bring in his own guys and it will be more of the same----I guess we find out Monday

Never hire anyone associated with the Dolphins from the last decade...It's pure stupidity to do so.

Morono should never have been hired...He was fired for a reason, mainly for running a boring super conservative fist pumping offense that lead to bad seasons...

Parcells should never be hired since he drafted Long over Matt Ryan and freaking Pat White in the second round. What a fucking moron.

Yes. A lessons learned approach, would realize that we've a top 10 d (again) and instruct the GM to hire a competent OC. The injuries are not Sparano, but FCOL, 4 years of ignoring the realities of the modern NFL rules. ,are insane.

The Roster on that side of the all minus the injuries o's well above average.

1 thing you want in a GM is a check on your coach when he is going off the deep-end on talent acquisition -- and vice-versay.

The Tebow Fiasco is one where if Rex was somehow seduced by TT, I would have hoped MT to put the brakes on it.

Rex distanced himself from MT's selection of Stephen Hill. Not sure why 1 or the other didn't do that on TT.

Wasn't the clown forced upon the team by Woody to sell tickets/PSLs/sponsorships?

    Just can him already.

No more stupid terry bradway "reassignments" within organization.

It's like saying hey you sucked at your job but we still want you to hang around so we can be reminded every day when we look at you how you sucked and failed.

    Only the NY Jest.

You hit the nail on the head. Tanny stupidly traded up for sanchez, keller, greene, hill, etc.=no depth at all. You know how many picks he gave up just to get Shonn (I can't even make my own mother miss) greene? Ridiculous.

I absolutely feel that Tannenbaum should get canned, no doubt about it and they have not drafted great, so Bradway I've had enough of, also. That being said, if you're fair about it, Wilkerson and Coples look like real good picks all of a sudden and I still think Hill will eventually get there.

Bill Parcells is a washed up football coach who's best days are gone. The NFL is completley diffrent then it was when he was a great coach. He didn't have much succes as the coach of the Cowboys in the early 2000's I hate this idea. This orginization can never move foward there always reaching back into the past.I feel like Woody may not wagetnt to fire MR .T but theres to much pressure on him from the fans and what not. Maybe when AJ smith and Norv turner both get canned we could bring them in as a tandem and let Norv take over the OC spot, I fear Rex may get fired in the long run, I sure fucking hope not but he should of had a say when he first arrived of who the GM was to begin with, He got stuck with MR.T he haid no choice in the matter as a first time head coach. It wouldn't surprise me behind the scenes if Rex is pulling for him to get fired

We still can't get a definitive answer on that.

If Woody didn't force TT on the team, he must be pissed at getting all the blame.

If he did, then maybe he rewards Rex/MT for taking the bullets.

I didn't mind the trade up for Hill but Greene, Keller, Sanchez and Gholston are enough to ship him off

Your picks in the top 3 rounds are your foundation while the 4-7 rounds are your depth picks look at Tanny's history in the draft he's made what 4 good picks on day 3(Powell, Kerley, McKnight and Slauson)

The Sanchez regression is enough in my book to get him fired, Sanchez has become a mess and regressed in the worst way. And every decision Mr.T made in the last few years have lead to this happening to him. But with that said the signing of Landry and Bell were infact great moves that would have paid off if the offense didn't ruin the season.I really hope we can get Landry back , He has had his first full season in years and is in great shape and the Jets coaches have to have had something to do with that, and he made the Pro Bowl. I really hope Landry comes back he fits in great with this defense and puts the fear of god into opposing offenses. I would love to see a whole year of him Revis and Cro.Maybe they can recruit Revis into talking him into it

Why wait until Monday? Tanny, please report to the owner's office and bring your playbook with you.

Seriously, is SC Johnson run this ineptly? What about the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center? I would hate to wind-up there. Tanny is only the tip of the iceberg that is the disaster called The New York Jets.
