I'm sure right around week 13 in 2020 we were all feeling that way too. They will find ways to score touchdowns at the least opportune times. I have no confidence whatsoever in them losing out.
Good point too. They flashed to Belichick and he looked so pissed and confused about it. The guy Tovai who jumped offsides was so overly distraught you’d think someone just punched his kid in the face or something.
Much respect to those of you who watched that Pats-Steelers game. It was low on my personal priorities
First broadcast on my new TV. Game sucked but the picture was pretty good for a LED. Trading it in for a QLED on Monday.
Fantasy football can salvage the interest level in any game. It was a actually pretty interesting game to watch on the backend though with the Pats basically trying to do all the could to choke it away, and Pitt basically being like "Oh no you don't".
As badly as I would want Harrison, Alt, Fashanu, or Nabers, if we get up to 2-3, the right move might be to trade back. We could get back into the 2nd round this year and pick up another 1st or 2nd rounder for next year, and maybe more depending on how far back we trade. We need all the assets we can get right now to improve the offense. Plus, as of right now, it feels like a very, very deep OL class. Nothing wrong with moving back to the 10ish range and still being able to get one of Odunze, Fuaga, Latham, etc. and getting more picks.
Not a bad idea at all. Someone may want to trade the farm for a top pick. There are several QBs for teams to fall in love with.
The Steelers were totally in SOJ mode starting with losing to the Cardinals at home on Sunday and then this entire game last night. The Patriots specialize in beating teams that love to SOJ.
it didn't look like a tomlin coached team the last couple of weeks. dionte refusing to block then looking at a live fumble and ignoring it. 10 men on the field, 12 men on the field. pickens not even running a route and looking pissed on the sidelines. allowing zappe to throw 3 TDs in a half. not getting plays in and wasting timeouts. they only had 1 left at the end of the game because they wasted 2.
No doubt, but teams have moments like that all the time. The difference between the Jets and most teams, they rectify those mistakes, take steps that are needed. The Jets just let things fall apart. Let's check back on this in a couple of weeks.
I wouldn't hate on this at all. I've said my "piece" on the Jets and QB drafting so ANYTHING other than QB, in this upcoming draft, will be a step in the right direction. If we can pick up a couple picks that would be fantastic.
I'm drafting a QB and I'm usually anti-QB. We got a 40 year old QB with no future prospects in house. I still remember the Jets passing on Mahomes and Watson because we thought we were good with Fitzpatrick. Use free agency to address the oline and later in the draft
Fitzpatrick was gone by 2017. Maccagnan passed on Mahomes and Watson because he thought were were good with Hackenberg.
And because only the Jets would rebuild a franchise around an in-the-box safety who doesn't create turnovers.
