Not surprised... Remember, he was the one who all of a sudden trashed talked after being a holier than thou perfect amazing human being
I won $250 in a small Pool tonight, because of, get this... Revis. I chose 6 Jets numbers as my boxes. 6, 24, 57, 70, 87, 89 (last four were the only open at that point). In Revis I trust. I didn't expect the Saints to win this game to be honest, but good for them. Peyton INT hurt the Colts chances a lot, but hey, you won't hear that from Fatcesca. He'll find a way to defend it.
When Colts were down by one TD in the 4th qtr, I didn't understand why Peyton was throwing the ball all over the place. They should have been playing for last possession. I think when it comes down to it, Peyton is a very impatient man, and the Saints made him pay for it.
Devils Advocate: They play the clock and lose because they ran the ball too much trying to have the final possession. Imagine the cries! You really think that was a better option? You live by the sword....... There is no way they are playing it safe w/Peyton @ QB.
I understand, but there still would have been plenty of time for Brees and the Saints were moving the football. I just thought he would have mixed in some runs.
man brees can play - the saints short to intermediate passing game was a thing of beauty - it also set up the running game - and kept that fast defense off balance in the second half. both QB's had a great game - even with the INT but its good to see manning come back to earth. thats what a 2 dimensional offense can do to even the fastest of defenses. from a jets perspective - the colts aren't going away and the jets offense is going to have to evolve into a 2 dimensional threat going forward to beat these guys. jil
I thought Pierre Thomas was very impressive last night. He is the type of all-around back that complements the home run threats like Bush.
Excellent night from Thomas. I was also really surprised in Joe Addai. I know Peyton is a deity, but Addai was the hot hand yesterday.
