The defense only allowed 10 points even with the offense being shitty and some BS penalties, especially on the FG which would have made it 6 points allowed. They could've played better but the D did enough to win.

I want to say that Keller's last play stepping out of bounds a yard short of the marker on fourth down to end the game was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen, EXCEPT the dude was probably still in yesterday after Ray Lewis knocked him there. He's excused.

I forget when Rex stepped in and instilled the whole color coded system/ground and pound philosophy last year, but I think it was around week 7 or 8. I can't wait that long for that to happen this year. This was one of my biggest fears coming into this year. We've heard all of these reports this summer about how Sanchez has matured and how he really seems to have a firm grasp on the offense now. As a result of all these stories I was afraid we'd see Schotty instill TOO much trust in Sanchez the way he did last year at too early of a stage in Sanchez' career, and that we'd see Schotty trying to get too complex, too cute, thinking that making things so complicated would outsmart the other D when in all reality he's just outsmarting himself. It looked that way tonight. Run the ball with LT in the first half, use Greene predominantly in the 2nd half to bruise and batter a tired defense. Play action slants, quick slants, deep slants, hooks, curls. Keep things simple. Enough of all the fucking motions and hard counts early in the 2nd quarter.
If we don't get a few of those calls on the secondary the defence looks beast. They had so much time on offence it was ridiculous.
