When we chose Conner there were available:

- Cam Thomas (NT/DE)

- Arthur Jones (DE)

- Reshad Jones (S)

I think all of them would've offered more value than the Conner pick and I would have preferred them. I also like Jason Davis (our 3rd FB on the team) who'll prob get cut now.

That said Conner sounds like a blue-collar hard worker and he can hit people so I'm happy we got him... but I would've preferred one of the three players above.

BrainFart...I was arguing earlier, on another site, about Kendall being a dick with the media.

 

We will need to adress it. We have added more depth in UDFA and if any of those guys work out things are not that bad.

Devito played well last season, We have a good rotation with Jenkins and pouah at Nose, and Ellis is still good. Our dept looks only decent on the outside but I'm guessing Rex really likes one of the guys who have been around like Pitoiuta.

 

Is there a reason why you like Davis other than the fact that he's currently on the Jets roster?

 

Maybe he thinks Jason Davis could overtake David Clowney as the "Twitter King"

 

That's really his only contribution to the team.

I mean their are a couple of ways to look at it

Trade up 5th round:Robert Johnson or Reshad Jones

Still had 7th round pick: Brandon Deadrick or Warren even though we signed him

 

Isn't that the purpose of 3-4 DL?

 

Would have loved to find a way to get Myron Rolle on the team.
