I mean shoot....penalties....We'll be ready this week...Shoot....We'll be ready this week...It starts with me...penalties...Shoot
lol I actually like Rex but my god the guy's freaking stubborn and refuses to evolve. He's still basically the same coach with the same strengths and weaknesses he had on Day 1, which isn't a good thing. And yeah clearly that whole idea of fixing something that wasn't broken (the D) hasn't worked either.
The most telling thing I have read...Rex's Bills come out playing well with all teams and then after halftime get destroyed. That is on Rex and his incredible lack of in game adjustments...Just keep it rolling as usual with him.
The best part is that they are trashing the wins the Jets have had against cupcake teams when their only wins have been against the same cupcake teams. But yeah, Jets fans are the dumbest people around.
Just saw a crazy stat on the buffalobills.com forum. Rex has only won back to back games twice over his last 54 games. Is this really true? Holy shit that is awful.
This is so false lol He won back to back games 5 times alone in 2009 and 2010 He did it 10 times in his coaching career with us Edit: I didn't realize you said "last 54 games". Then yes, that is correct
Wow I never realized that. I do remember 2013 when we were on a seemingly record breaking W,L,W,L... streak. Reading over the Bills forum I notice their fans are somewhat rational and knowledgeable. A stark contrast to those loonies on patsfans.com
You bastards have your fun now. Come game day, Rex will have a game plan to contain Geno, Kerley will be covered in the slot and Smith won't make a single catch over 60 yards.
kudos to the Buffalo media to call out Rex Ryan on his bullshit. It took the NY media years of lapping up RR soundbytes before they grew the balls to write something like this. "Ryan claimed he never used the term “ground and pound” but the implication was obvious. The Bills were making a concerted effort to play smash-mouth football. So far, there has been too much mouth and not enough smash. Looking back, it all sounds like senseless blather. The special teams are among the worst in the league. The Bills can’t get through a game without somebody taking a mind-blowing penalty on one of their coverage teams. Ron Brooks had the honors Sunday when he was flagged for taunting Adam Jones after making a tackle on punt coverage. What, did little Ronnie forget to wear his “yes sir” reminder bracelet? It was unnecessary, unintelligent and unprofessional. And it has become typical. The Bills might as well use a picture of Brooks standing over Jones in their marketing campaign. After all, it’s a reflection of what they have become under Ryan and his coaching staff, which is either unwilling or incapable of instilling the discipline required to win consistently in this league. If players can’t control their emotions after getting juvenile reminders such as bracelets and pushups, maybe they don’t belong in the NFL. Then again, if the Bills cut everyone who committed a ridiculous penalty, they would play shorthanded." ------------------- Jerry Hughes has a right to bitch. The guy was almost out of the league after Indy where they had him playing in pass coverage & run support. Buffalo trades for him and lets him do what he does best. Hand in the dirt, get after the passer every single play. They had themselves a new player! 20 sacks and $45 million later however, they bring in Rex Ryan who puts his system above personnel and now they have the Indy version of Jerry Hughes because Rex "wrote the book" on his system.
Wow.... It certainly didn't take long for the Buffalo Media to catch on to Rex. The players are grumbling about the system along with the stupid penalties and play. This certainly appears to be Rex's last stop but its kinda sad that he's still riding the crazy train. You'd think after 6 years in the big chair Rex would have learned something by now.
I think the reason why he got a pass in the NY media for so long was because of his initial success in 09 and 10. That mixed with his huge personality got him a long way. He also brought over a few veterans from the Ravens that year including Bart Scott, so there was a lot of locker room unity and no player eruptions in the media despite the ups and downs in 09.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...uestioning-buffalo-bills-coach-rex-ryan-calls Marcell Dareus joins the WTF Rex bandwagon ... a lot of people predicted this prior to this season that things like this would happen.
First time posting here. Not trolling, but good luck rest of the year. Only time againest a team is playoffs on the line or playing againest the Bill's. But dislike the Patriots the most of any team. I wish we had your coaching. LOL Rex is a circus. I would post link using D line into coverage but can't. UNREAL!!!! Guarding air I guess LOL. Soooo sad..... Players speaking out and stuff.. I miss Jim Schwartz D.... The most overrated coach for any D in this league. He is bottom half coach or D. He lucked out on some GREAT players. To be honest you guys doing well. If Rex was still there you guys would be worse. Bowles is a good coach. Good luck rest of the year.
