Apparently Tyrod Taylor has a relatively significant injury. At least so much so that the Bills checked the passport status of free agent quarterbacks, because they're going to London next week. If only they had a steady, reliable backup QB who's won games in this league and knew their playbook and personnel from being on their roster throughout the entire offseason. Oh wait, they traded him for a bag of peanuts.

And another thing: Tyrod Taylor was beaten up all day on Sunday scrambling around for his life and took a pretty bad lick on a horsecollar tackle. The Bills got down to the 5 yard line and what do they run? Wildcat. Direct snap to the running back, end around then pass in the flat to Tyrod who gets hit again after he was already noticeably hurt. It's obvious who made that playcall. Last year against the Dolphins we ran the exact same play and it was almost returned for a touchdown off of Geno's foot, then after the game Rex bragged about how it was his design/call and it was wide open if Kerley made a good throw. Leave it to Rex to call a pass play to his quarterback who was already limping around.

Rex has the reverse Midas touch, everything he touches turns to shit.

The irony here is the drooling Rex did over Watkins prior to the draft and even into last season about what a weapon Watkins was and just how rare of a talent he had.

I'm still holding out faint hope, as I've got him in a prime keeper position in fantasy. :D

I don't get why Rex is such a big wildcat fan, does it go back to when Sparano kicked his ass in '09 with it?

Yup. He automatically falls in love with those that whip his ass. His main reason for trading for Holmes was that Holmes kicked his ass when he was DC for the Ravens.

Because obviously anyone who can defeat his impenetrable defense is a special player.

I let my players be themselves= I let my players say dumb team hurting divisive shit because I enable them to. I haven't learned that great coaches don't let anything stand above the team. I still don't believe there is anything wrong with it.

Watkins let's be honest. Great potential elite talent, yes. Have you done anything extraordinary with that talent to demad targets, no... Then STFU and earn it.

Rex is a joke and hasn't learned a thing.

^ every team has some players saying dumb shit, including the current NY Jets.

i fail to see how Watkins selfish complaining is on Rex..
that type of talk was not 'enabled'.
the double standard Rex gets is fascinating...

Of course players are saying dumb shit regardless of the team.
But name one coach other than Rex who supports and approves this.

i'm sorry, did Rex approve of Watkins message, and how he delivered it?

Rex has always been a team first guy, and for the most part, the team has bought into that.
how many times (outside of Holmes maybe) did we have to worry about the locker room here?

Yep, it's one of his serious ego fueled flaws

Who would've guessed Tim Tebow running downfield for the the game winning touchdown would be much worse for the JETS than that actual game?

I lump it all into discipline issues with Rex. Late to meetings, apparent lack if preparation, dumbass penalties, shit performances after byes, undisciplined game management, infighting, loose media talk.

All symptoms of an overriding serious discipline and lack of accountability issue.
