Very good job on this post- you clearly put a lot of thought into this. However, if we trade the McFadden pick for a 13 and a 30, we've been robbed!
So I've been watching Kelly play today and he definetely has the size to play the position. He's not anything special but he's more then suitable compared to what we have. What I don't understand is why did he bounce back and fourth on the pats practice squad for years? Why didn't we try and sign him this past offseason? Did Romeo/Savage give him a big contract?

Well to answer all of your questions: 1. What I don't understand is why did he bounce back and fourth on the pats practice squad for years? - He was a 7th round draft pick and the Pats had Wilfork and other proven NTs, so thats why he bounced around their practice squad. 2. Why didn't we try and sign him this past offseason? - We didn't try to sign him this off-season because he wasn't a free agent. 3. Did Romeo/Savage give him a big contract? - No he has a small contract, but he is not a big time player, so there would be no reason to give him a big one. 4. Do we know how long he's signed for? - If I am proposing to sign him this off-season, obviously his contract expires after this season.
I love the signings but can you please please make it so we don't trade our number 3/4 pick overall and keep it for McFadden?
