I think they still are. They've lost games due to blocked punts and special teams. Those are stats as well.

Let's hope. We have the snow plows ready in case of bad weather, the satellite cameras are in place. We have microphones in the Jets locker room, outside the Jets locker room, in their projected hotel rooms. The Patriots are ready to rumble!!

80% of your immediate family isn't anything to write home about.

    Dear Mods,
I was being sarcastic. I don't have any other alias'. Nor have I for some time.

Please feel free to search the 2(3?) spots I post from. Home, work, work.

The encouraging thing is this: The Pats offense is ranked 13th in the league; between Green Bay and Baltimore. We might have lost to both teams, but we shut down their offense. It was just a matter of our offense playing like garbage.

Whats more is that statisticly the Patriots are a slightly worse version of the Texans. Good O Bad D.

reevaluate what you said using points as a measure of ranking instead of yards (for both offense and defense) and see how much sense that makes

The Patriots have the #1 scoring offense in the league, so they are better than the Texans in that department. What the Texans do better on offense than the Pats is run the ball. The Pats are more one dimensional.

There defense is bad though. So long as Nacho doesn't turn the ball over I don't see how we don't win by at least 10 points. The Patriots defense's only saving grace has been causing INT's. Teams that rely on turnovers on defense generally aren't very consistent.

True. You can expect Rex to use the blitzes against Tom Brady to make this a 9 v 9 or a 7 v 7 game. Take the runningbacks and tight ends out of the equation as much as possible. We know we have the talent to beat the Pats WRs with one on one coverage, so I see us blitzing them all day.

They have one now. In the two games vs each other Pats D has allowed 31 points while the mighty Jet's D has allowed 59.

If we score before the half atleast we gather a bit of momentum, no?
