I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't want him to be on my Patriots. Severe drop in production + major injury problems + character issues after going beastmode for an entire season with little to no problems? Sounds like a classic case of steroids to me.
we do need another back (even if LT comes back) - we need someone that can be a top level change of pace back if Soprano does go full ground & pound - McKnight is still an unknown and Powell is even more of an unknown - hillis is not the answer though as he has a similar style to greene and has injury concerns
Bingo, that's exactly what we need, now we have to see how Soprano uses the guys we have, no need to get another RB at this point, until we solidify the Oline.
I hope LT does not come back, enough of the old parts man, let's get younger and more explosive players.
LT is cheap & still effective as a 3rd down back. He's got good hands & effective at picking up blitzers on 3rd and long situations. He's not going to break tackles but he's a good locker room guy and the Jets need more of those.
Not to mention the LAST thing we need is to lose another mature respected veteran. It'd be a mistake to let him go after the antics going on with this circus of a locker room.
LT is cheap and effective on 3rd down blah blah blah im sick of hearing this about LT it simply isnt even really that true.We need young explosive players. Peyton Hillis had a bad year in Cleveland because he wanted to be traded.Look at Aaron Maybin he was one bad play away from being out of football.Hillis is only 25 and as we learned with Maybin a new start somewhere else can work wonders. He didn't play good last year because he didn't wanna play there he was seeking a trade and never got one
