    Neither are gone yet...

Folk had 2 very good years, and then he shit the bed this past year. In comparison, Feely did the same thing his 3rd year with the Falcons. It happens.

BTW- Folk was coming off surgery this past season and picked up some shitty habits in his kicking motion. I'm not a Folk lobbyist, but he also has a hell of a leg, and his kickoffs are very good.

Exactly why the let Feely go...to sign some one for that $1.5mil Feely might get elsewhere. Remember the final 8 and Final 4 Rules?

Feely was 54/64 with the Jets. Doug Brien was 51/61...Nick Folk had a bad season but he can bounce back. I don't like the move but the Final 4 rule is what made it tough for us and we had to take that chance. We might still end up with Feely anyways. Maybe Folk will push Feely. Maybe Feely pushes Folk and makes him what he was a year ago.

You wanna make the same mistake Broadway regime made? TJ will be 32. Not exactly the age I would want a RB to be making $7 mil. Where as he had a great year, you just simply can not reward players for past contributions. That was the mistake our last regime made. Ask the Seahawks how they felt when the signed Shaun Alexander few years ago to a huge contract.

This is the first day it has truly felt like off-season. The Jets forum is reaching new levels of stupidity.

This must be what it feels like when a city has to cut back on its police budget.

    Fantasy Jets Trade

If you could make only 1 trade that you think benefits the Jets the most, what would it be. The trade doesn't even have to be fair, we're just swapping 1 starter for another.

examples: Trade Sanchez for Manning, trade Greene for Chris Johnson, trade Lowery for Asomugha, etc

Personally, I would trade whoever's playing safety, Smith I guess, for Troy Polamalu.

Gholston for Patrick Willis, Demarcus Ware, and Polamalu in a four team trade.

Plus I would throw in a fourth rounder if they needed it.

    Larry Fitzgerald for Edwards

Not that I have any hate for edwards but I wanted to stay starter for starter and same position.

I wouldn't go for Polamalu simply because he is always injured. I was going to say Smith for Ed Reed, but Reed is also an injury risk going forward. As a result, my trade would be Smith (or whoever) for A. Bethea.
