I feel the same way, but it's looking more and more like the trade is taking a turn for the worse. Tannenbaum has made a lot of stupid deals in 2009: The Lito Sheppard trade is basically pointless because all he does is get flagged or get beat. The Kevin O'Connell trade is...wait, what?! We TRADED for Kevin O'Connell? ...the fuck? The Braylon Edwards trade has actually made Mark Sanchez take a step back because our idiot of an offensive coordinator is trying to get him the ball too much.
It's really annoying to read the same thing 15 different times. He could have bumped one of the countless other threads saying the same thing he was.
I still don't get why we have O'Connell...Is it to make him the 3rd qb an co-captain against NE? We gave up a pick for that? Lito is either flagged, beat or injured. I don't want him back. And we lost picks. Agreed on Braylon...BS has made a point of calling plays for him, and outside of the first game or 2, he hasn't done much to deserve it.
Well certainly if you a long time Jets fan this stuff is hard to watch. I'm 53 and have follow this team since I was 10, that a long time between great teams. So seeing the promise of the start of the season fall a part as defenses figured Mark out has been rough. Very difficult for our defense to play up when they are on the field all day. What I would like to see at thois point is for the CS to not destroy this kid by leaving him in there on days like this. His confidence is already at an all time low,( welcome to the NFL kid ), leacing him in may just ruin what's left ! I know many of you would disagree with me, but if wining does really count for anything this season,shouldn't we at least get a look at Clemens. If they are willing to put Brad Smith under center why not Clemens. I know the kid has to learn but damn, we are getting killed by the team we hate the most and the team the love to just humiliate us. If we are going to lose anyway should we not at least go down like loins instead of lambs... 43 years already, not a lot of season left for this old fan .....:jets:
