You're welcome. I totally understand. I did the same thing with Farrior and Lagemann in another thread. We can blame it on the Jets driving us crazy! LOL
Have a hard time seeing that. Sure, he'd like the opportunity to redeem himself in the NFL, but at age 65, with his legacy cemented where he's at, who wouldn't just play out the string and ride out in glory....
Come on guys, we all know everything will stay the same and it will be Tony Romo at the helm next year for a repeat of 2008.
At this point we're in decent shape to ride out two more mediocre to bad Bowles years until Harbaugh gets his ring and the itch to be I believe the second coach ever (Carroll) to win a NC and a Superbowl, aye?
A top notch free agent HC like Bill Cowher or even give Jim Harbaugh a call. If that doesn't work call Mike Westhoff. That's a home grown guy that is a legend in his own right. The point is, change of the CS is a necessity. It must happen. Just because there may not be that top notch great guy that has won SB's in the past, does not mean that change is not necessary, it absolutely is..........
In some ways I wish the NFL was more like soccer and you could just go out and buy a top flight QB - seems like we will never get lucky in the QB stakes - must be one of the few franchises never to have had a true franchise QB - and getting a great QB is way more important than whomever is stood on the sidelines
