I?m in a PPR with 2 WR, 2 RB and 1 Flex. Edwards, V. Jackson and Jennings are on a by and Maroney and Rudi are banged up, so i need some advice. Roy Williams and Berrian are my WRs this week Edge is my #1 RB, so i need to fill 1 more RB spot and 1 Flex. These are the guys i have to fill those positions: Maroney (Mia) Rudi (NYJ) Kevin Jones (TB) and Lee Evans (Bal) if maroney starts, he?s my #2 RB without a doubt, but who should i start at Flex? Rudi was a huge dissapointment last week and i?m a little scared of playing him this week. Lee Evans didn?t do anything the hole season, so i won?t start him. That leaves my with Rudi or Jones at my Flex. Cuz it?s a PPR, i think i?m going with Jones, even thou Rudi has a great matchup! thoughts? and i need a by-week filler DEF, on the waiver wire are: Wash (Ari) Ten (@ Hou) Houston (Ten) Tampa (Det) Atlanta (@ NO) Arizona (@ Was) Oakland (KC) or Clevland (NYJ) Arizona is playing with a third string QB, so i think i?m going with Washington.
go with Kevin Jones. I picked up Washington Defense for this week against Arizona. Arizona is now on QB#3 (Rattay) and Washington has the 3rd overall D as of yet.
First of all, Rudi is not going to play. Maroney probably won't play either. Even if he does, he wasn't doing anything before. Even with Morris on the bench, I don't like him. Lee Evans has sucked lately but smart teams have gone deep on Baltimore all season. Is Buffalo smart? Probably not. But you don't have much of a choice here. Start KJones and Evans. As for your defense, I would go with Houston. VY probably won't play and Kerry Collins is a gold-mine for fantasy defenses. After that, I'd go with Wash because AZ can't do anything right now. After that, Tenn.
maroney averaged about 80 ypg when he started, despite sharing the load. And with Morris out, he should ge opportunities to score as well. If he starts i expect solid numbers from him. If he?s good to go, there?s no way i sit him for evans!
I don't trust Jacobs's ankle. I don't trust Jacobs to get goal line carries. I don't trust the Giants to do well in 6 straight games. I just don't like Jacobs this week. The Saints should beat up on the 9ers cuz they are awful. That means a steady dose of Reggie.
The more and more I think about it, I have to start Roethlisberger... Having tough decisions for starters is a good thing!
Here's one that's driving me crazy. Rivers or Cutler? I'm tempted to go with Cutler because (1) then I'll have a player going on MNF, which is always nice and (2) I'm worried that SD is gonna have one of those games where LT and Turner combine for 300 yards and Rivers only has to make 10 passes. Thoughts?
Even if Rivers throws a 1 yard pass and LT does all the work it still counts for Rivers. Cutler has been good recently, but I'd go with Rivers against the Texans. The Texans are on their 2nd QB and who knows how long they will possess the ball, SD D has been playing better, this translates to more time of possession for San Diego. Hope that helped bro.
I would definitely go w/ Rivers b/c of the matchups. Houston gave up 38 to the kerry collins led Titans. The Packers are a top ten D
How about this one. I have Palmer Winslow and Housh locked into 3 spots. thanks to the bye week I have, 2 RB spots a WR spot and a WR/RB spot open. Here are the guys I could use Selvin Young Travis Henry Jesse Chatman Kenny Watson Marques Colston Calvin Johnson Jason Wright Im thinking of going RB-Henry (but he's hurt so at worst I could use Young) RB-Chatman WR-Calvin Johnson (the bears can be passed on this year plus Colston faces Clements) WR/RB-Wright (Rams D is trash should be able to at least get a goal line TD) thoughts?
That seems about right. Keep your eye on Jamal Lewis, though. He might play, which would obviously make Wright a bad start.
5 RB's for 3 spots, PPR league. I have: Westbrook (he's in) Jones-Drew @TB (he's qustionable on the injury report) F. Taylor @TB (depends on MJD's status-could get 10 or 25 carries) Selvin Young vs GB (Henry is a game-time dcision on monday night) M. Bennett vs Jac (not so much) Basically my problem is the injury report. If Henry doesn't play, Young could get big carries. Even if Henry does play, he might not get a full workload. I like MJD over Taylor, but Taylor is healthy. Will Taylor get more carries? Return yardage counts-will MJD return kicks if he's questionable? Help me Obi-wan Kenobi, you're my only hope...
Yikes. That's a rough bunch of options. Westbrook is a definite. Bennett will do absolutely nothing. I have no faith in Selvin Young either. If MJD is not inactive for the Jax game, I would start both MJD and Taylor.
OK- Which 3 of these WR's should I start? L.Coles Andre Davis Santana Moss B.Stokley Jurevicius Northcutt Coles is a given, but I'm up in the air about the other 2 guys I should start. What do you guys think?
