    This is the trade---

Trade Abraham, and our first round pick to Arizona for their first and third round picks-- and get Big Los Dansby, and Darnell Docket to fill some holes.

These are low salary guys, and they are both young, and pretty good.

    Nice.

I have a question for us to ponder about trading our pick and abraham. I think we can trade down and get a 1st rounder for abraham.. And the 2 resulting 1st round picks should be used on Lendale White and Ngata.

First of all, we need an NT for when we switch to 3-4. Ngata would be a good choice for that. And I heard today how much Curtis was advocating for Lendale... Personally, I love the guy and always thought we should consider him in the top 2 on the draft board. But I think its better to do this and then used our 2nd rounders on O line. Thoughts?

Trade Abraham for a box of pop tarts. Strawberry with frosting, preferably.

    Trade

Trade Abe and our third rounder to the Cowboys for their 18 overall and their third rounder.

With the 4 pick Jets select best available QB (Cutler or Young)

With the 18 pick Jets select WInston Justice, OT.

With the 35 overall Jets select Max Gean Jilles/ Charles Spencer (availability in that order), OG.

This gives us two of the top tier O-Lineman and a franchise QB. The rest of the draft you can work on Defense. a d-lineman to replace Abe, maybe a nose tackle, a CB, etc.

Heck they might do that without us giving up our 3rd rounder. But if this scenerio took place then I would have no quams about taking a shot at Cutler.

Did you miss the thread for Abraham trades in the sticky area?

The Cowboys now have Ware.. they have no need for Abraham.

lol, everyone gets so up tight about posting things in their proper thread. This forum is all just for fun. If you see something out of it's "proper thread" just ignore it.

Did you happen to notice the 2 DE's drafted by Dallas last year, including Ware who promises to be a monster?

I am convinced that some of you guys and your trade scenarios have 2 big wheels at home, you start off by picking a Jets player, you spin wheel 1 to find a team, then spin wheel 2 to address draft picks.

A moderator specifically said to post trades involving Abraham in the sticky thread up top.

You can feel free to ignore him if you wish, but I'm not going to.

yes, the Cowboys have Ware, but they also have Scott Fujita? and a possible retiring Dat Nguyen? Fujita I believe has played the middle and they'd moved him there, or promote Bradie James, either way, Abraham would give them a very lethal one-two pass rushing LB punch..

this would be the stupidest trade off all time for the Cowboys... it is not a need area for them. They are not going to give up a first round pick for an oft injured DE with the same skill set as thier first round pick from last year... and the bonus is, the one they drafted, stayed healthy for all 16 games.

Not to mention the disdain that Parcells holds for players who spend too much time on the DL and won't play hurt in big spots (Abe 2004 playoffs).

They will take a safety with their 1st pick IMO.

Dallas is a prime team to take a QB... after Bledsoe they have no one, and he can sit and learn the system.

Ignoring the fact I don't like the trade and doubt it will happen.

You think taking one QB and 2 OL addresses our needs on Offense? The defense does need work right now. I wouldn't mind if they went offense the entire draft. The Jets need a QB, RB, FB, C, G, T, WR. That is not taking into account depth needed at the Oline, WR, and TE (if Baker does not resign).

I wouldn't mind them drafting a CB or LB in the later rounds. But I want to see offense, offense, offense this year.

If the Skins don't have a first rounder in 2006 then who does? According to http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/9137410 the Skins have the 22nd overall pick.

The reason I ask is that if the Skins traded their pick away to someone else, I would trade Abraham to that team for both of their first rounders.

The skins traded their 1st rounder to Denver last year to get back into the 1st round of the 2005 draft to select Jason Campbell.
