    No, I like Sullivan and he would start for me. I do badly need a LB though, so I will do 78 and Ian Gold (you have Lawson now) for 92, Bennett, Sullivan. If not I'd rather just do 92 and Bennett for 78.

    With the 77th selection in the 2006 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams select Victor Adeyanju Defensive End, Indiana.

    No I'd get raped in that deal... Gold is starting for me if Lawson bulks up 10 pounds he'll be exactly John Abraham's size and Lawson will be able to start as a 4-3 end.

    Tell you what how about this:

    Saints get: #78
    Broncos: #92, RB Michael Bennett, OT Ben Archibald

    The Rams were planning on taking Jimmy Williams/Tye Hill with the 11th pick, but with Scott Linehan as Head Coach and our offense needing a kick in the ass, we were thrilled to get TE Vernon Davis here.

    Having WR Mike Furrey playing FS for half of the season was not ideal. Not to mention losing Adam Archueleta... So S Ko Simpson addresses a glaring need and depth.

    Tony Hargrove isn't ideal at DE, plus we need depth again, so I'm quite satisfied with Adeyanju. He has too much to potential to pass up.

    I was quite satisfied with my draft I must say.

    I did feel some of the trades were a little over the top, but this whole thing was quite amusing and well run/participated in. Nicely done Donnie and all of the other mods. :up:

    I appreciate the comments...I actually like the Fansano pick alot. His athleticism is not that great, but he has solid hands and is a good blocker. He and LJ would compliment each other well...

    I have a player here that I believe can start and contribute immeadiately but there are 2 positions I still want to fill and I want to acquire both by the end of the draft.

    With the 78th pick in the 2006 TGG Mock Draft, the New Orleans Saints select:

    Gerris Wilkinson, LB, Georgia Tech

    Wilkinson, who could play OLB or ILB for the Saints, becomes the next piece of my revamped LB core, now Wilkinson, Greenway, and Bokwaldt. Wilkinson is a guy who could go late round two and is raw but has loads of potential.

    Well, that's it, I guess I'm done, unless I can acquire another third.


    My draft:

    4) D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia
    24) Chad Greenway, OLB, Iowa
    78) Gerris Wilkinson, LB, Georgia Tech

    Filled my two biggest needs, adding the top LT and the two impact LBs the Saints badly need.

    You are correct... Saints had the 91 I must have made a typo the first time and then it got into my head that it's the 92.

    I now hold the #91 overall selection.

    I just traded him the 78 for the 92, Michael Bennett, and Adrian McPherson. Gave me a backup QB and another RB to tag team with Tatum Bell and Ron Dayne.
