Has to be joke! Why? So we can watch him show up to the play 2 seconds after someone else makes the tackle , so he can put his hands on the downed player like he did somthing. No thanks!

Wait a second. Rex Ryan was the only coach to get decent play out of Rhodes and you want to bring him back. Yet your signature is Fire Rex Ryan?

    srsly????

I'd rather have Eric Smith back

He's definitely one of the best safeties when it comes to play on the field...

Lockeroom stuff might be a different story but as a player the guy is very talented. Really good in coverage and underrated in playing the run. People just think of his 2009 season when the Jets and judge him based off that.

He gets so much slack for his 2009 season. Before that the guy played extremely well for us.

He played well after he went to Arizona too.

I'm not saying I want him, I dont. I'm just speaking on him as a player. He is definitely good enough to be playing football right now.

Here's a better idea. Trade a 5th to the Steelers for Cotchery. I miss that guy.

Aye it was very good coverage, but not good enough. If he'd turned his head and jumped MAYBE no TD. I'm not going to throw him to the wolves because I think he can be a very good CB for us. I'll bet he's pissed by the TD though

kevmp, you seem to be playing both sides of the fence here saying you don't want him then saying he played extremely well for the NYJ and AZ (as well as being "underrated" vs. the run--not) and that he's definitely good enough to be playing somewhere.

Begs the question: why's this guy not playing then?

Is it that NO team could use a safety with his skills? Or are teams afraid to sign Kerri for some "other" reason?

I think teams are afraid to sign Rhodes for "other" reasons. I think he is clearly good enough to still play on some team in the NFL.
