I love this move. Low risk, high reward... We can't go wrong here. This FO is really thinking clearly.
Schaub deal will get done McKay will eventually cave in due to those seattle a$$holes who have ruined everything lol. Abraham really wants to play in atlanta but he will have to give in eventually if the falcons dont budge. Blank isnt going to allow a player like Abraham get away from his franchise so he will get McKay to involve schaub in a trade package. But you will NOT get our number 1 pick, we need that to draft a top young CB to pair with Hall. I honestly dont care about ripping you guys off, I just want a deal in place that will benefit my team for next season.
Ramsey on the bench oK i understand not having to give up anything to get ramsey, a 6th rd pick i can live with that, but lets all hope Jets still make a move to get Leinart and Ramsey sits on the bench and doesnt play a down in a Jets uniform.
Im not doubting the Falcons will end up getting Abraham, but after an afternoon of confusion I dont think they are going to trade Schaub
I think Atlanta is just taking a hard stance "No Schaub or No First Rd. Pick" to see how the Jets react. They give us some lowball offer, we counter with a high offer then we end up meeting in the middle. If Abe does go to ATL I guarantee we get either Schaub or Their First Rd. Pick. If not then we're getting jobbed.
It slows the board down and it makes it difficult to sift through all the repetitive threads people seem to love starting that's why they care..
ramsey had some good games against the jets I recall that ramsey had some good games against the jets.I remember him taking his team downfield many times.sure he has made mistakes.but with good q.b.coaching he might be a steal.
I think we will give Pennington every opportunity to be "the man" this year, then Midway through the year Ramsey will start
He only played us once so he had a good game not games and in reality he wasn't great against us but did make the key play to set up Wash for the win.
I still remember that season opener at washington and how pissed I was b/c Coles was amazing and John Hall beat us
So Far....so Good... Jets' for once didn't overpay for a player. A 6th round pick is acceptable. Now....Jets' have to get a #1 for Abe, or a 2nd this year & a high pick next year. Otherwise...there better off keeping him. **Abe is a star player*** Jets' can't just give him away, like they did Herm.... Also....with Ramsey in the fold, Jets' can use #1 pick on a position of need.
Brees was on fire to start his career. Really? He played one game in 2001 so forget that. His first full season was 2002. 60.8% completion 3284 yards 6.2 yards per attempt 17 TDs 16 INTs Sorry Alio, that's an average season at best. Obviously, he had a down year in 2003 and improved greatly in 2004 and 2005 (under Brian Schott). Lets give Ramsey a "Schott" at the job. (wow, was that a bad pun!)
