    Well, one says Jets agree with Seahawks for 31st, but they still need a deal. The other says they have a deal, but need to talk with Jets about a trade. They could both be right, he hasn't been traded anywhere yet.

    I'm think that maybe they used Atlanta as a way to finally get Washington to agree to trade Ramsey.:)

    I'm not liking this one bit, start with something new I say, we had the choice of at least two decent qb's out of college and we picked up an underacheiving Ramsey. This just sucks in my opinion.

    This is probably a stupid question, but since Abe was franchised, and if anyone signs him we would get two first round picks. Why can't we just let him go and take the two firsts?

    Yes, another Abe thread. Sorry, but I didn't want this to get lost somewhere else.

    ESPN reported:

    So if the above is true, we would accept the Seahawks offer, and if Abe is willing to go to Seattle we would send him there. Now the Falcons will have to top the Seahawks compensation to get him, or we will trade him to Seattle. The only thing that tops the Seahawks first is the Falcons first. So I think we could end up with a 1st out of all of this, but we'd probably have to give up like a 3rd with it.

    This is great if the Jets do in fact have a deal in place with the Seahawks to give the Jets #31 for Abe then it puts the pressure on the Falcons to up their compensation package so they don't lose him. This is a win win scenario for the Jets.

    Yep, lets hope so. This has been an exciting sports day, NCAA tourney, we get Ramsey, now Abe might be traded.

    I just walked in the door, I love the deal. Ramsey has never gotten a chance and I hope he gets it here.
    One thing I do know, is this kid can take some serious hits. And with this offensive line we are going to need it!
