Yet Vince Young led all of college and also set an all time NCAA record in terms of combined passing and rushing totals...but most people think he sucks.

I'd rather not pick up someone's backup QB. Bollinger has more experience than Shaub, we could always just start him.

This is the value of Schaub. The Falcons honestly believe they have a guy that can win games when their star runningba...I mean quarterback, inevitably gets himself hurt again.

Finally people are starting to say "Let's keep Abe." I'm glad people are realizing that he is too valuable just to "get rid of" simply because he has hurt some feelings.

The least I would do is Abe for Schaub straight up. I think we would still be on the short end of the deal, but it could work out great for us.

If we plan on grabbing a QB in the draft, at this point, let's just forget anyone already in the league. The only QB in the draft I am against is Young, but regardless, any of the QBs in the draft this year have star potential. Keep Abe, grab a QB in April, and let's get moving forward already.

i think he has alot of potential and i will be happy if he is or isnt a jet doesnt matter to me. what im wondering is why they dont make an offer for schuab that includes just swappin first round picks if no wants a 2nd and 3rd for the 2nd i think this is reasonable for the 4th. thats just me respond back

Dumb QBs who are run first, pass second type QBs will always be considered huge risks.

I couldn't agree more. He is going to be a starter in the league for a long time with someone. He's a huge pocket passer (6'5") and he was very impressive when he started. He's much cheaper than any of the top 3 draftees would be and he's been practicing with an NFL squad for 2 years. There's a lot less question marks about Schaub then there are with Leinart, Young or Cutler. If a decent deal can be worked out, I say grab him.

exactly they rather us keep him so he can play half ass because hes not happy. Trade him, wed then have 2 seconds, 2 thirds, two fourths ????
why would u not do this, one player is not going to make us or break us.

Hmm...interesting my friend...i like the second proposal, because we stockpile picks and get a rising star in shaub...i wouldn't be mad if this went down.

A scenario that I envision is jets trade 4th overral and abe, to falcons for abe , 15th and 2nd rounder

Now if you cant build a team with that, I dunno.

Because winning franchises don't give away the better player and the better pick, thats just ridiculous.. I would love to get Schaub but under no circumstance am I giving up the 4th pick and ABe. Thats just crazy talk..
