I’m not as informed as most but my bet is 9 wins 8 losses because I’m optimistic about the players, JD, and Coach Saleh. I have to be…I’m owned by a PSL.
ok reasonable post here for those who don't have me on ignore....... i posted 1-15 a couple pages back and that IS a possibility with a few more injuries and injured QB. that being said and if injuries do NOT accelerate then this is what i am looking for..... a poor start - 1-6, 1-7, wilson QB rating stuck in the 70's or 80's......all you deplorables will be chirping loudly. a 3-5, 4-4 finish where the QB rating increases, on average 10-20 pts. simple metrics. so a 5-6 win season is likely if common patterns prevail with respect to a teams rebuild. though the jets have had so many fckin rebuilds, they distort the pattern all by themselves. LOL.
Another thing with hi picked rookie QB's - aside from Marino and Mahomes who made their mark instantly...... the SECOND year is the cheese - the first year almost always sucks - W-L, Rating, compl%, TD's etc etc. For the eventual studs - it starts to click during year #2 after everyone is about to throw in the towel. Also the year 2 improvement is supported by better first and second year players management hopefully collected. So NEXT year better be the move and challenge for a .500 record/WC.
Everything changes week to week in the NFL. Way too much of a blind dart throw to make picks that way. I still think anywhere between (7-10) and (10-7) is a fair prediction for the Jets this year. They could lose to the Texans and beat the Buccaneers. Wouldn't be that crazy. They are a young team and this is the NFL.
Roethlisberger, Ryan, Flacco, Newton, Luck, RG III, and Herbert all had good rookie seasons, meanwhile Mahomes played in 1 game so not sure how he made his mark instantly. Those are just rookie QBs since 2000, if I went back to 1983 I'm sure I can find some others.
Feeling optimistic so I dropped some $10 bets on the Jets... and Zach. 9/7/218:19 PM Placed - SingleTo Win $ 400.00 NY Jets to start 4-0 (+4000)NFL 2021/22 - Team Requested Specials 9/7/218:18 PM Placed - SingleTo Win $ 10000.00 NY Jets to win all Home games (+100000)NFL 2021/22 - Team Requested Specials 9/7/218:11 PM Placed - SingleTo Win $ 1500.00 New York Jets (+15000)NFL 2021/22 - Regular Season Team Overall Records 9/7/218:09 PM Placed - SingleTo Win $ 1000.00 Zach Wilson (+10000)NFL 2021/22 - Player Regular Season Stat Futures 9/7/218:08 PM Placed - SingleTo Win $ 660.00 Zach Wilson (+6600)

Philly and Jax could go either way and Houston, who knows? But I'll be at that one (yawn). It would have been a great game to be at if Watson was playing...for the Jets. Still haven't located any of that required "excitement" I'm supposed to have according to many here but it looks like the coldness of reality has tempered some of those guys judging by more recent postings and the "patience" thread of the last day or two.

IMO sure losses are Bucs, Saints, Bills (2x), Eagles, Titans, Colts, and most likely at least one loss each to Miami and NE
