@ Carolina = W vs. Patriots = L @ Denver = L vs. Titans = L vs. Falcons = W (Bye week). @ New England = L vs. Bengals = W @ Indianapolis = L vs. Bills = L vs. Dolphins = L @ Houston = W vs. Eagles = W vs. Saints = L @ Miami = L vs. Jaguars = W vs. Buccaneers = L @ Buffalo = L I figure 5 or 6 wins. I don't see us doing well in our division. Maybe a win at home against the Phins, but, then I could see losing to the Eagles if that happens.
3-14. Decent shot at a win at the Panthers week one because that's just how the Jets roll with an under-prepared rookie QB. Sanchez beat the Texans week 1 with a good performance, Geno beat the Bucs week 1 with a last minute score and Darnold beat the Lions week 1 with the best game of his Jets career. All 3 of those guys had more talent to work with than Wilson does but I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets win the game anyway.
I'm not here to nitpick predictions because that'll take all the fun away from this thread but if the Jets won 2 games last year with... • Adam Gase (HC). • Dowell Loggains (OC). • Sam Darnold (QB), 42nd in QB Rating). • Frank Gore (50 yo RB). • B. Perriman (our #1 WR, just released after Preseason). • Henry Anderson at DE. • Denzel Mims as a Rookie who missed time. • Bryce Hall as a Rookie. • George Fant @ RT (62nd/62nd dead last). • Feeney/Pat Elflein @ LG. • Awful Special Team gunners. • Rookie Mekhi Becton. • Harvey Langi @ IMLB. • Quinnen Williams playing out of position @ 3-4 as a space eating NT, was criminal). etc. Vs... • Coach Robert Saleh (HC). • Mike LaFleur (OC). • Zach Wilson (QB). • Michael Carter (RB). • Corey Davis (#1 WR). • Shaq Lawson (DE). • Elijah Moore + a healthy 2nd year Denzel Mims). • Bryce Hall with more experience as our #1 CB. • Morgan Moses @ RT (BEAST). • Alijah Vera-Tucker #1 rated 1st RD interior O-Linemen. • Justin Hardee as an All-Time great ST Gunner. • 2nd year Mekhi Becton. • C.J. Mosley 4x Pro Bowler 4x All-Pro @ MLB. • Quinnen Williams back to his natural 4-3 playmaking DT position @ Alabama where he was compared to Warren Sapp. And there is a 0.00% chance that these super talented and hungry Jets of 2021 doesn't win way more than 3 games. And those are just 15 examples ( I could list another 20+ examples) but just by the predictions I'm reading I can tell a lot of people still think that Coach Robert Saleh's Jets of 2021 are still Adam Gase's Jets of 2019 and 2020. I forgot to mention my dude @ OLB in Hamsah Nasirildeen out of FSU too (who's 100% making the All-Rookie team as a tackling machine).

Peyton Manning went 3-13 his rookie season because he was on a 3-13 team at that point and he was a rookie.
@bicketybam I see you're going out of you way trying to mock me over my 2021 Record Predictions, but yet you haven't even made one of your own? That's bush league of you. Here. Show me how accurate you are and/or how well you think you really know your favorite team. @ Carolina = vs. Patriots = @ Denver = vs. Titans = vs. Falcons = (Bye week). @ New England = vs. Bengals = @ Indianapolis = vs. Bills = vs. Dolphins = @ Houston = vs. Eagles = vs. Saints = @ Miami = vs. Jaguars = vs. Buccaneers = @ Buffalo = Last year heading into 2020 I predicted 3-13 (at best) with potential for a 1996 1-15 type of 1996 Rich Kotite disaster (word for word) and they finished 2-14 (exactly right in the middle of what I predicted). And since you didn't even make a record prediction last year? Now is your opportunity to make your own 2021 record prediction (rather than mocking others). Lets see what you've got.
Ok. You've got no creativity of your own and aren't able to predict a schedule but yet go out of your way to mock others on a Football message board; cool (good for you).
@ Carolina = W vs. Patriots = W @ Denver = W vs. Titans = L vs. Falcons = L (Bye week). @ New England = L vs. Bengals = W @ Indianapolis = W vs. Bills = L vs. Dolphins = L @ Houston = W vs. Eagles = W vs. Saints = L @ Miami = L vs. Jaguars = L vs. Buccaneers = W @ Buffalo = L 8-9

Also my belief that Jones will be shook under live fire. Pats can't score. We start off red hot at 3-0. We feat on weak teams like Bengals, Jaguars, Eagle, and Houston. Saints, Bills, Colts, Titans, Bucs are the only teams we can't beat.
@ Carolina = w vs. Patriots = l @ Denver = w vs. Titans = l vs. Falcons = w (Bye week). @ New England = w vs. Bengals = w @ Indianapolis = l vs. Bills =l vs. Dolphins =w @ Houston = w vs. Eagles = l vs. Saints = l @ Miami = l vs. Jaguars = w vs. Buccaneers = l @ Buffalo =l 8-9 Start out strong. Depth problems at end of the season. Lam

Everything about this team except the DL is basically brand new. 1) Is this OL something or nothing? Depending on who you listen to, or when you're tuning in, it's a top 10 unit or a bottom 10 unit. Who the hell knows. 2) Can Zach take a punch and get up? He looks fantastic. Will he play 12 games? We're not winning any games without him. 3) Would it shock anyone if our pass defense was bottom 5 in the league?
How can anyone tell me with a straight face that these Jets of 2021 and under coach Robert Saleh can not beat these teams? @ Carolina = Win. vs. Patriots = Win. @ Denver = Win. vs. Falcons = Win. @ New England = Win. vs. Bengals = Win. vs. Dolphins = Win. @ Houston = Win. vs. Eagles = Win. vs. Saints = Win. @ Miami = Win. vs. Jaguars = Win. @ Buffalo = Win. Jets are going to have a magical turnaround this year and it's going to become more magical than 1997's turnaround under Bill Parcells after coming off of a 1996 disaster under Rich Kotite. This Jets team of 2021 outside of Revis is WAY MORE TALENTED than 2009's; especially our QB, WRs, D-Line and MLB.
see a doctor to get some medicine for bipolar disorder. The Jets are 5-19 on the road last 3 seasons combined. You have them winning 6 road games just this season. It is not going to happen.
And I predicted last year (word for word) "3-13 with potential of a Rich Kotite disaster of 1996". And if you think this is the same roster under Coach Robert Saleh with the same TALENT as 2018-2019-2020 of 1-2-3 years ago? Maybe it's you who needs to see a doctor in order to take medicine. Your type of response (above) reminds me of the fans mocking and laughing me off the forum heading into 2009 while screaming top 5 Defense and Playoffs under 1st year Rex and Rookie Mark Sanchez (and we made it to an AFC Championship game). And in 2008 I was also mocked as the homer of the year (Sunshine Award) here on TGG and why? Because I knew 100% 2008 had an awesome team (before injury to #4) and I knew 100% that our 2009 roster was going to contend because of it. Heck. 2020 was the first time in 10+ years that I guaranteed and predicted a Knicks playoff birth under Tom Thibs (created a JN thread about it before the season) and why? because I believe in Defense and guess what? #1 D and playoffs (when everyone told me it wasn't possible). I know a GOOD TEAM when I follow one throughout the offseason and you claiming 2021 Jets of Saleh are still the Jets of Adam Gase imo is absolutely criminal. @ Carolina = Win. @ Denver = Win. @ New England = Win. @ Houston = Win. @ Miami = Win. @ Buffalo = Win. If you don't think we can win these road games? To each our own.
I cant break it down game by game ...at least not until I see a sampling of our first 3 games against Panthers Pats and Broncos. After that I will predict the wins and losses for next 14 games going forward. But its really like driving in a snowstorm without seeing Saleh, the CS and our star players in the real deal for 3 weeks That said, I posted before that for 2021-22 Season we will be on either side of 8-9 or 9-8 Won Lost record. Of course I continuously hope for a pleasant surprise.
