No we won't.... The only guy on our team who ESPN praises is Chad, and he;s usually one of the least deserving.... You know why? We have a serious shortage of likable, overachieving white guys.... The Pats and Colts, on the other hand, are chock full of them....
Dude, don't act like it's not true... I mean, obviously these teams are praised first and foremost for their play, but the media always has been infatuated with the over achieving white guy (Wayne Chrebet comes to mind, Jason Sehorn, John Lynch, Tedy Bruschi, Wes Welker, Brandon Stokely, Kevin Curtis... All guys who the media praises as 'smart, hard working, tough)..... And the Pats, year after year, get more praise than anyone else, and, guess what, they're probably one of the 3 whitest teams in the league....
Most people don't like to, and neither do I... But it's kind of hard to ignore.... The one thing that sets me off more than anything is when people show favoritism based on race, so this kind of thing irks me, but I'm not so naiive as to think that if it's ignored, it will go away.... Too many people are too PC now adays.... Not sure why this kind of thing isn't okay to discuss.....
What do you expect? Schlegal not only made their team, he's been ON THE FIELD! That CANNOT be a good sign!
