Yeah a bunch of guys in the Draft Forum loved the guy. I know it's still preseason and he's going up against 2nd and 3rd stringers but he looks totally in control of that offense. He doesn't look like a rookie out of a small school. _
Nope. His drop backs and throwing mechanics are great. He just looks comfortable at all times. That's something that is very hard to teach.
And that sick TD pass to LaFell at the back ofmthe end zone was insane. Like ho hum old hat to me. That Tyms kid looking good too.
No I'm looking for the replay on the NFL Network, will watch it when it comes on. I didn't even watch the Jet game (was out to dinner) am watching it now _
It is really going to be disturbing when one of these rookies (that we could have drafted outside of Bortles) ends up being a really solid NFL qb.
Yeah im just saying that without question he played good (and of course while im typing this response they showed his highlights on the TV but I didnt realize until it was over =/ )
Oh I wasn't talking about rating his performance, those numbers speak for themselves. I just want to see if they were all screen passes or whether he was throwing mid range to deep passes, was he leading guys, how he looked. _
And if you look at Minesota, Zimmer should be able to bring a really good defense, they have Peterson on offense, perhaps they go with the rookie QB? It kinda reminds me of the Jets when Rex arrived (but I am not sure how good they can get on defense, and im not sure how much more Peterson is capable of).
