If we had a freaking defense, we'd have had a better chance. We gave up 24 points, and then let them drive all the way down the field, Brady completed third down after third down. And that shitty punt to give the Pats that free TD at the end of the half too.
make a stop here and hope they miss or we block the FG.. but we are the jets so what are the chances of that happening
and maybe that rookie kicker will pull a kaeding from san diego, or a nuge from last week....come on babyyyyyyyyy
on the drive where jets kicked FG, in red zone and they run on 1st and 2nd down. CP only has 41 tds and 0 ints in red zone. that hurt also
Yeah Graham's shank there changed the game- if its 10-0 going into the half, the game would have been totally different IMHO Either way, I'm pretty impressed. NE is still a good team and we're a young team in transition. The Jets gave away a lot of points today (i.e. the stupid holding call on Coleman and the shanked punt). We can only get better.
Defense has been pretty inconsistent. At times, they managed to get to Brady, break up passes, and stuff the run...but not consistently enough. Patsies just seemed to be able to piece together solid plays which led to scoring drives.
the only reason Blaylock was good that one year was because he was running behind the Chiefs line... u would think our FO would have noticed that
How many minutes has the D been on the field? Even in the first half they were constantly on the field. It's the same old story with this team. The D cannot play so many minutes and be expected to stop anyone in the 4th. The only difference between today and last year is that we are throwing the ball on every down, rather than running.
