Bring in Gregg Williams so he can take over after Rhule is inevitably fired.

He'll get one contract to get back to the playoffs. Then Chris Johnson will find a reason to extend him another 2 years to keep from looking like a f'n idiot again. Next thing yanno... its 2025 and Sam is on his second contract.

Why not make Ken Starr President of Football Operations while we’re at it.

Christ, the guy won between 10 and 15 games eight out of thirteen years he coached. How many years have the Jets ever had double digit wins? I'd kill for that level of consistency and success.

6-10 is preferred. So we are right outside the elite draft talent.

I don't think Rodgers is a top 3 QB of all time, he gets hurt too often. Regardless, McCarthy dominated the NFL as much as Payton did with Brees or Tomlin with Roethlisberger. And the Packers usually had bad rosters and backup QBs, so there wasn't much there when Rodgers was out. Considering that plus McCarthy developed Rodgers, and I want McCarthy over Rhule. As for Monken, I like him too but the Jets don't seem to be interested.

its senseless trying to argue prior successes with people who are used to systemic failures.

No, the implication was that you try to win the Super Bowl! Not that you do worse than 9-7. Winning more is good!

Yes now Baker has a Kitchen. I wonder what OC "Todd Frying Pan" and DC "Jason Oven Mitt" will do with their talent.

The Jets are deep in discussions to hire the guy who restored order following one of the biggest disasters in the history of NCAA football, and you want to talk about hiring...the guy who caused it?

You do realize that Mike MacCagnan is somewhat involved in this process don't you? The guy who has three months to prepare for the draft and uses high picks on Christian Hackenberg, Devin Smith, Lo Maulen, Darron Lee, Ar Stewart, Chad Hansen, etc. Maccagnan waiting/probably hoping to find someone who concurs with his philosophy of never drafting offensive lineman before round 5, and a grand total of 2 in 4 years.

You must not watch Aaron Rodgers play. He’s very good! Minus a game each year to account for Aaron Rodgers, that’s a lot of 9-7. The Jets can do better than 9-7 every year! Not sure why you’re advocating for that result so vociferously. Aim high!
