But disregard how awful the Temple teams he took over were because it fits your narrative. Rhule led Temple to its first 10 win season since 1979 in 2015 and its first ever back to back 10 win season after 2016. Baylor's program was also damaged after football players were basically raping their way through campus. Rhule is a good football coach.

Well formulated response and I can respect your view , he does seem like he has the prime leadership qualities you want a coach to have. It's his poor offensive abilities and offensive numbers as a OC\HC that leave too much to be desired for me especially with a young QB in sam who needs to be the priority.

He seems like a coach to take over a team with an established QB as opposed to a developing one.

I dont care what he did in college.Tebow was a great QB in college,So was Manziel so were hundreds of other players and coaches until they came to the NFl.Only 2 college coaches have panned out since 2000 Hardbaugh and Bill Obrien.

The thought of Matt Rhule scheming against Bill Belichick twice a year using his vast experience at the football powerhouses, Baylor and Temple, is enough to make me want to hurl.

And Maccagnan in 1 or 2.

Don’t understand why Mac wouldn’t be advocating for Mac — he gives him the best chance for survival.

I’ve noticed that some people are too obsessed with resumes instead of thinking about what guys can bring to us in the future

    That’s all that matters

McCarthy sees how Mac runs the front office and says "Mr. Johnson, we need to have a talk about your GM..."

Cmon Jets! This is not rocket science! Make a f**king decision.

Personally the choice is simple: McCarthy who wants be here and only here of the available teams. He's a winner. That's enough for me.

Monken is good but he doesn't really have a HC vibe. Would be a tremendous OC for us.

Rhule is interesting (and the probable hire), but honestly, Baylor & Temple don't get me too excited and his records haven't been too great. Barely has NFL experience and when I hear him talk, he's a bit too cliche.

Gase. God no. Please no. As an OC, fine.

And I've noticed that of the two leading candidates, only one has proven he can develop a QB which is top priority for the future success of the franchise.

    That's all that matters.
