Not thrilled by the Thursday night game on the road following the Sunday Night game. Talk about lack of prep time.
So..er..the more the lockout continues into the season, the easier the schedule gets? Go, go, Goodell.
Lots of sleepless nights for UK/European fans in store. I'd better start being nice to the boss (starting tomorrow)
I love it. Five 1pm home games, second half of the season is one home, one away... etc. Nice balance after the bye. 3 night games at home but at least no 4pm games at home.
4 pm is the best... you get the nice long tailgate going and bring the tv with directv to watch the 1pm games... 4pm games are what i look forward to most.
I love the 4pm games too. I'd love to trade one or two of the night games for some 4pm's I'd take that in a minute. BTW, I love how some of us already pick a W/L record based on this. With the labor issues a good guess might be 7-4. Plus, we don't know who will be on the team yet, who we draft, who's on the other teams blah blah blah. Always funny to read.
So we play a Sunday night game at home against the Pats then fly across the country for Thursday night against the Broncos? That's BS. Word
Week 1: Cowboys @ Jets, SNF 8:20pm W Week 2: Jags @ Jets, 1pm W Week 3: Jets @ Raiders, 4:05pm W Week 4: Jets @ Ravens, SNF 8:20pm W Week 5: Jets @ Patriots, 4:15pm L Week 6: Dolphins @ Jets, MNF 8:30pm W Week 7: Chargers @ Jets, 1pm W Week 8: BYE Week 9: Jets @ Bills, 1pm L (we always lose after a bye) Week 10: Pats @ Jets, SNF 8:20pm W Week 11: Jets @ Broncos, Thursday 8:20pm W Week 12: Bills @ Jets, 1pm W Week 13: Jets @ Redskins, 1pm W Week 14: Chiefs @ Jets, 1pm W Week 15: Jets @ Eagles, 4:15pm L Week 16: Giants @ Jets, Saturday 1pm (Christmas Eve) W Week 17: Jets @ Dolphins, 1pm (New Years Day) W 13-3
I agree with the Broncos game. That is a serious WTF? However, it makes week 10 the biggest game of the year for the division. If we beat the Pats week 10, we could be in control even if we drop the Broncos game. I also agree that predictions at this point are ludicrous.
I wonder if that has ever happened to another team. Seems like bullshit to me. They should be on at 1PM on Sunday if they have a Thursday game.
Yep or the Thursday game should be at home if they're playing Sunday night. Sending them on the road, to Denver which is a terrible place to have to travel to begin with, is really rough. Makes the Pats game on that Sunday even more important.. gotta win that one.
Sunday night into Thursday .... and @ Mile High Stadium .... that's gonna be tough. I loved the exciting Dolphin/Jets games from the past but I think it's time to drop the Jets/Dolphins game from MNF. Do any fans of other teams in the league enjoy watching this rivalry nearly every year on prime time?
As long as the games aren't boring duds (which the last two in primetime have been anything but), why wouldn't they enjoy them? I don't like the Ravens or Steelers, but I'll be sure to watch their's or any other game in prime time, generally.
Jets will once again give every team a run for the money. And that with Ryan and Sanchez at the helm. All things are possible.
yay, I am so happy that they are coming back to Oakland, and I am going to go to Denver too. I get to go to two games. I didn't get to see them at all last year. This made my day.
