What about trading Vick and signing Thad Lewis as Genos backup. Not sure if there's a market for Vick at his price. Would the Rams be interested if for a conditional pick.
Hate that we're gonna keep George over Edds, who had a monster summer. I get Idzik being protective of his draft picks, but a 5th rounder? Come on, take the better player and put George on the PS to develop (he needs it)

Smith played better in camp and in the preseason games, so what is the issue??? Why can't you understand that it is better for the Jets for Smith to start and succeed?
