Everyone should feel better after all that praise.

Calhoun could help. He needs to bulk up, though.

Looks like they'd be better off waiting until later to pick up a banger like Derrick Ross, Gerald Riggs or Mike Bell, to handle the short-yardage this year, and hoping there's better RBs available next season.

And to Brady Quinn or Drew Stanton.

I know the Jets are getting alot of praise right now from these "experts", but I dont feel good about this draft. Sometimes the safe picks dont work out either and the Jets played it as safe as possible. I would have liked to have seen at least one chance taken.

    Only time will tell........

Now we have to go defense with our next pick, no Pope.

    Damn.

schlereth said (and those that disagreed w/ the first 2 picks pay attention) "The Jets really KNOW how to build a franchise". You start from the line and work your way out. I feel better about Clemmens now after listening to Jaws. i really wanted Croyle though

Do we go with Clemmon's primary target (Demetrius Williams) at the top of Round 3? I think we need should look at a RB or WR unless a NT or OLB/DE that is too good to pass up is there.

We dodged a bullet... Brody Croyle had Browning Nagle written all over him.

Yeah, Schlereth has built a ton of successful franchise's. j/k but had to say it.

There are also a ton of personnel people who think you can get OL later in the draft and teach them to be successful through development (New England, Atlanta, Denver, San Diego, now Miami with Hudson Houck, Buffalo believe this way)

    Just different ideas is all.

running back from Wisconsin. 5'9", 201. 1636 yards and 22 TDs last year. Member of Big Ten Championship 4 x 100 meter relay team. Will not a good blocker or 25-carry guy in the NFL, though...

You know what? Brian Calhoun would make me feel alot better about this draft. I remember watching him tear it up in some Wisconsin games I saw last year. I thought he was a junior, I didn't even know he entered the draft.

Now I have a reason to keep watching, and probably end up dissapointed again, oh well back to the shots.

HAGAN is still available? holy crap i havent been paying attention at all, land this friggin guy, he tore it up at Arionza state!!!
